Shadowlands Arrives November 24

Maybe’’

then what were they trying to fix? cause there were multiple complaints about things like covenants.

+1

not seen this, but again comes back to what were they fixing? if it was just polish they would have released with bugs and fixed them like they’ve done in the past.

no, something must have been quite broken enough for them to delay, even only a month with all the backlash has done harm to SL even if it ends up being a good expansion.

true. have they said what they’ve actually been working on cause people saying theres still lots of bugs.
i wouldn’t be surprised if it was kept in 2020 to make the Q4 figures look good. if they didn’t release within about 2.5 weeks of the new date, a 2021 release would almost have been certain.

im sure there would be a loophole out due to corona. to be fair, these are new times, and im being serious.

How about we don’t release Castle Nathria Mythic one week before Christmas so that every competitive gamer feels pressured to raid on Christmas Eve to make progress?

The release date of Shadowlands itself is fine, but gods please no on releasing Nathria on the 9th.

This puts our raiding days on:

  • 17th of December (OK)
  • 20th of December (OK)
  • Christmas Eve (not OK!)
  • 27th of December (probably not OK)
  • New Year’s Eve (not OK!)

Come on, man.

You know this is bad.
Don’t.

I think they learned from cyberpunk Delaying the game even more makes fans angry

if you plan to raid on xmas eve that is your own priority on life choices , that is not blizzard problem lol.

EDIT: to be fair … the way xmas is looking in uk the only thing to do might be play wow lol with lockdowns…

So World First Race for Castle Begins 1 weeks befor X-Mas week.

Yeah that gonna be a big ouch i think for the top raiding guilds out there, especially those 6 days raid on raiding guilds, during progression after a new Raid releases.

:anguished:  :expressionless:

And so it begins.

We obviously don’t.

But there’s people taking time off work and hunkering down to stream competitive world first raiding for 10 days straight, and they don’t deserve this. Guilds that clear the raid in ~4 weeks, which is very normal among high-end mythic guilds, aren’t going to put up with this.

And honestly, having all this excitement about a new tier in conflict with the excitement of Christmas is going to ruin both even for more casual guilds.

Release date: OK
Heroic release date: OK
Mythic release date: Not OK. Delay it to very early January, please!

Heard people complained about the date because of thanksgiving They not forcing you to play on release Maybe its the better if you play little bit later with how many people playing at same time

it will separate the dedicated from the no lifers :stuck_out_tongue:

blizz knows about world first races. its been a thing for years, and they know that such a release will force the top raiders to raid at this time or give up that title.

and considering how much of a thing world first is to blizz now, they want to big it up as much as pos. wont effect a lot of people like me or probably you, but the top end raiders, yes, big hit.

Honestly why would the Americans complain about that. When covid literally makes it extremely difficult now to visit each other for large gatherings.

I never cared about getting world first I play on my own tempo :man_shrugging:

That’s fair enough, but you’re not the only person on the planet with an interest in this.

i dont really disagree if but if people really feel getting world first raid clear is more important than other priorities that is purely their own choice to make that decision.

the timing could be better sure but no one is forcing anyone to have to do it.

in fairness its about time those people got hit a bit … us casuals have been taking all the hits for years on behalf of them.
