Shadowlands: Castle Nathria and Season 1 Goes Live December 9

I understand that, all I can really say is tough, real life comes first. You , me , them have and continually will face choices we hate, deem unfair or are just difficult. We do what we do then and thats decide , accept and move on… the world keeps on turning.

I mean its gonna be tough for blizzard and devs as well. They have to monitor issues and balance and fix them when those happens, it’s not only gamers that has to deal with this, its the employees as well. They cant leave the office empty during christmas. Feels very rushed this raid date. After all this waiting im sure we could have waited until january 1st to raid at least the patient ones

Super excited to get new raid and M+ season in little over a month. My guild, the best one ever, still pulls around 25 guildies on socials/alts raid nights, but it’s going to be nice to have new content, and personal goals, pretty soon.

I think this is the perfect timing to release the raid this year for several reasons

#1 Holidays are when everyone get’s to get over the guilt of how infrequently they speak to each other or see each other throughout the year by spending six hours with their entire family for two random days out of the year cuz Jesus and reasons.

#2 most people are garbage humans anyways so why care about #1 (don’t take it personally)

#3 We will truly see which WF guild has the biggest nerds, choosing the raid over Christmas

#4 Which people don’t believe in the pandemic and will bring over their 60yo grandma to celebrate Christmas.

Personally we do our best to express our love and bond between all our loved ones, Christmas means nothing to us apart from celebrating it for the kids but this year we are only sending out video calls to relatives and family members.

Safety and health is the main focus this year.
Stay safe and enjoy the raid with a hot coffee next to you guys!

Bottle of fire water (40%) it’s max. It’s doesn’t matter for me who win, better if this will in Christmas cause i would check streams more often then in work days. I remember something that for example in Paragon most ppl have other job then gaming. So for ppl like this Christmas time would be better time.

you cant fix entitlement it aint possible and it is horrible to witness it, people literaly do think that their way is right and none else can be right.
they only think of them selfs, say something against it they go crazy, be it in RL or in games as whit this case where people think just becuse they feel that way it should so for everyone.

That doesn’t seem very certain, to be honest.

The thing is, for quite a few world first raiders, streaming has become their job. And not streaming a race to world first because you spend time with your family ends up in you losing out on money.

And for those without streaming as their job, they can simply use their vacation days for raid releases.

I’m fairly certain for most, if not all, people in the race to world first, this release is worse than either an earlier or later release.

It sucks for most people, except for those who don’t plan on raiding themselves, but plan on watching other people raid.

i get what you’re saying but this years been crazy with covid. Alot of people have lost their lives, jobs and financial income… Some gaming companies have pushed back releasing their games due to oversight and being naïve. I just think people need to see sense and realise that theirs bigger problems.

Over where I am, I can barely see my family, loved and trying to keep my job and wage coming in. Not really sure how my job is going to pan out myself. Streamers can always make their money when the time is right and now it isn’t the right time to bring the raid out before christmas.

its whether people want the game experience to be ruined due to lack of attention or whether they want to wait a bit before people starting moaning about the systems again.

How is this an argument at all?
They shouldnt release a raid because streamers wont have an income because its christmas?

How about all the people in critical professions who have to decide each year: do i spend christmas or new years with the family (if that choice isnt made for them by their employer like: work christmas in 2020 / work New years in 2021)

Nurses / police officers / firefighters / medical care professionals / logistics proffessionals etc etc.

And now we have to consider the income of streamers who have to make the same choice as the above mentioned professionals?

They lose out on spending time with their family even tho its Christmas or whatever.

And those streamers wont really lose income to begin with, especially not if your viewers are doing the exact thing you are doing as a streamer:

Celebrate Christmas with family (if at all possible due to the pandemic)

So yeah, amazing argument once again.

Raider io asked a select few world first raiders and responses on their questions seem to be 50/50.

The fact that Blizzard decided to get us the expansion when they think its ready and bringing in some inconvience for a small amount of the playerbase is just as it is.

Delaying the expansion will cause more harm than this whole inconvience for a few hundred raiders at best.

Didn’t we talk about this already? I said several times that I have no interested in talking to you. Please just give up, you don’t want to understand what I’m saying.

I hate Christmas season and am glad I’ll have WoW to distract me from all the fake religious legacy celebration.

You dont want to talk because all your arguments are being dismantled every time.

And your points are invalid.

And i am free to respond to anyone i want on a general discussion forum.
So if i choose to reply to your comment in this topic, i will.

Not to mention i understand perfectly fine what you are saying. It just makes no sense.

  1. More than 70% won’t care about it.
  2. Those who care should have priorities in their life instead of being angry that they can’t raid for a few days.
