Shadowlands did not do any damage to the setting

Gameplay directions. And yes some have beta, some even got into alpha. But overall you dont really need to have either to see footage of whats in those builds and come to a conclusion if you are going to like it or not.

To be fair I know I’m not particularly a fan of the current state of keeping tracks of all the states I have on Paladin. And Warlock definitely overwhelms me even with good Auras.

Sorry but that’s just your own speculation.

Oh I main/ed Ret Paladin. That spec did not need a rework. Yeah the new ES is goid, but the removal of crusade and crusading strikes feels awful.

Demo warlock is a mixed bag, as far as I saw it no longer relies heavily on WAs to track your imps (although a WA could still be useful), but the spec still has a lot of issues like set up and ramp up.

Now creadit where credit is due some specs needed a rework, I hear frost mages are happy (from 1 of the few people I know that plays frost XD).

Also the combar addon stuff is a deal breaker for most if not all the people I talk to. No one trusts Blizzard to design and maintain them properly.

I think it’s the sweeping changes in direction which has upset people.

To be fair I won’t miss that. I was NOT good at counting my strikes and I probably were overcaping on HP more than I should. Especially when doing it on top of adjusting my cooldowns, Holy Power Spenders, whether I am in Avenging Wrath state or not and my Empyrean Hammer Stacks. I kinda wish they made the 4p set Bonus on Templar more… Visible. Took me a week to realize why my Wake of Ashes does not revert back instead if displaying greyed out icon of it’s follow up. (Yes I missed the fact you have a second one that still costs 5HP xD).

You didnt reallt need to track them if you had the rotation down to musle memory and even if overcapped 1 holy power it wasnt fatal. My holy power WA came with an easy to read tracker, I can share it if you feel its such a problem. The WA itself is just 5 squares that fill up in yellow depending on how much HPower you have, and the tracker slowly feels them up in blue depending on you stacks and once filled turns yellow.

Predicted by who? Rage-baiting streamers? People scared that their add-ons will go away?

Also, Arthas’ soul (Or the last remnants of it, anyway) went out like a fart in a draughty room in a raid cinematic, Blizzard’s none-too-subtle way to say “He’s gone gone, stop asking!”

You just need to look at the response.

It’s not just streamers.

It’s people who are genuinely disappointed with the sweeping and sudden changes.

Have you played the PTR? It’s an awful experience.

Nobody is asking. But Blizzard tends to keep things in the bag for when things go bad, and this is one of those things.

If it makes you angry then that is proof Blizzard is doing everything right. Next.

Nah, Sylvanas and Illidan are the “In case of emergency, break glass”-characters, they’re in situations that keep them out of the story, but they can conceivably return from, Arthas (And also Garrosh) had their very souls destroyed, there’s no coming back from that…

And I guess why we’re getting Sylvannas in Midnight (confirmed), and Illidan in The Last Titan (hinted at by Ion).

So what else have they got in the bag for big returns? Arthas? Medheiv?

Literally nothing points in Sylvanas coming back for any reason. It is just a short quest in the prelude and after that nothing. I doubt you have any reliable sources.

Blizzard confirmed in an interview ffs.

Backflashes in the Windrunner Spire dungeons don’t count.

“What major characters not seen in the initial reveal cinematic could we see in Midnight?”

“Without spoiling too much, you will see Sylvanas at some point in the next expansion. Don’t expect Naga to return, but we’re not ruling it out. There will be some other folks, Thrall and many others.”

Sylvanas showing up can be anything. Even a memory during the Horde invasion. This stuff sounds way too vague.

If its just flashbacks then the wording is very misleading given the question. Not saying its beyond Blizzard to do so, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I just doubt Sylvanas has every soul freed yet that is all.

Trying to avoid spoilers from the beta here, but her role is tiny (Thus far, it’s still beta), so while “You will see her” is factually correct, that’s about it.
