I know this is a fake, but I do think that Sylvanas might try to assault ICC and try to break the barrier between the Shadowlands and Azeroth, since we know that the Frozen Throne is the anchor between those two.

Uh, do we? Where’s that from?

Bwonsamdi mentions it during our venture to the Frozen Throne to question Bolvar about Vol’jin.

So he does.

Though he calls it “an” anchor rather than “the” anchor, potentially implying there’s more than one. Kinda dumb, don’t like that either way.

why can’t it just be that the lich king raises bodies to mess stuff up and cause chaos. why is he suddenly interested in keeping a balance. gotta raise corpses, but not too many!!

why is everyone now a tauren

Yeah, me neither. Though at least it somewhat explains why Kil’jaeden sent Ner’zhul to that specific spot.

I mean, I thought it was just because it was in the bum-end of nowhere so they could build up their undead army in peace. It never needed any explanation beyond that, imho.

This shadowlands “anchor” existed for thousands and thousands of years but apparently no one in all the evil spellcaster history (including Yogg) cared before like 15-20 years ago. Smacks of lazy retconning.

was really cool of kil’jaeden, who wanted to destroy azeroth and invoke a new invasion of the burning legion to send someone there to help keep their spirits and dead in balance

very based, thanks kil’jaeden

You just summarized a good part of Blizzard’s writing.

He sent Ner’zhul though, not Bolvar. Bolvar =/= Ner’zhul/Arthas, since we know that Arthas destroyed Ner’zhul and then ended up in hell later.

sure, i get that. but how do we know that arthas/ner’zhul weren’t bound to the same balance that everyone else except for sylvanas seems to be?

did our boy arthas hold back, only using 10% of his full strength?

Subconsciously, yes.

It was stated that Arthas’ human self, however little was left of it at that point, was the only thing preventing the Scourge from taking the world.
