Is there any good reason to be an engineer in shadowlands? From utility perspective or gold making

From the non-engineer pov, utility-wise you have some mechanic skips on dungeons, some belt atachements, free mobile repair and banking, combate ressurection and auction house in oribos.
Gold making-wise, I’d say auto-hammers always sell. Don’t remember other stuff that might be a sell point.

Engineering is OK utility-wise, but is not by any means a gold-maker. Nothing sells and the marked is flooded with the few items that we actually can make for others.
The only truly useful thing for engineers to build for themselves is the shadowlands teleport toy. Elsewise the profession is uninspired.
