my point is that bubble needs a nerf because the version of it which is implemented in the game is balanced around mass dispel and shattering throw also existing to balance out the fact the paladin can attack from inside his bubble.
without the existence of dispel and shattering throw, paladin being able to attack from inside his bubble has no counterplay and thus is OP by definition.

Your last capitalized paragraph is nonsense and a complete exaggeration, as no one has written it in this form, so this is a lie. What I wrote is a completely valid, existing thing. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the website I linked and you can also check the distribution of other class runes, where you can notice how stupid some classes got slot allocations.

this is not irrelevant to the topic. counterplay doesn’t strictly mean “beat them in 1v1” it means counterplay in pvp in general.
paladins can solo stall a flag for 10 seconds or more.
if you have 3 paladins in a bg and you are coordinated you can completely lock down a base of your choice by having the paladins rotate divine shield on the flag which means you can guarantee that the base in question CANNOT be taken, no matter what the horde team does to try.

And randged classes cannot do the same with poke and cc? A good hunter or a frost mage or a lock can solo protect bases. And they can’t just use ONE powerful ability every 5 minutes.

No, they can’t. because no ranged class has any ability that gives them immortality for 10 seconds straight with no counterplay.

By “a lot more even wsg” you mean 1 hour games with 0-0 flags,where 7.5 k hp druids just roaming their base with 2 heals?I personally stopped queuing WSG till they reverse this patch.
