Honestly this is like if a shaman made a post saying nerf paladins bubble - another 
the paladin’s bubble available at lvl 25 is “divine protection”, it last 8sec and they can’t attack while in it, it’s only an "escape, delay death(8sec) ", and BoP is purgeable
and paladins don’t get the magic dispell till lvl 42… 2 phases of nightmare for the purged alliance…
No changes were made to any of the OG classic abilities and they will continue this trend. So unless they make a rune, which would alter purge in a meaningful way, so it would be worth using slot for it, yall can keep whining all you want, meanwhile i’ll be seeing you in BG with purge being bound to every single key on my keyboard.

If shammys are that good re roll one it’s simple, I play a lock and I have seen what 3/4 palas can do in a pug bg never mind trying to kill one.
Dwarf shaman and whatever horde paladin is needed, in SoD, and even in Era
most players are not kids, punish them to go play in another faction, losing time/friends is not the way

Shamans have remained shafted in pve, atleast let em be good at pvp. SOD is for some fun, not such strict esport like some are treating this to be.

To be fair, you can just cancel aura the bubble once you’re back in range.
Using your bubble (or bop when feared) offensively to stay on top of someone is imo mandatory.
Any Ret that’s not rocking cancelaura macros is not using the kit to its full potential.

Even as a holypaladin (lvl 60 in Era) i run in frontline at start of a Warsong battle. I jump on horde (as a healer) → they all focus me → i bubble and go back my mates while they kill horde focusing me. (but it’s sacrifing a 5min CD, it’s risked)
But shaman and paladins in both factions is needed… whaterver shamans or paladins can do for their faction

Theyd have to go back and introduce a ton of stuff to support it. To do what? Hand the alliance the least popular class in the game?!. In all classic servers lol.
Invest time in something that gives more then 5 players someyhing to do.
The downside is that they have to play a shaman
