Top guilds on Shazzrah - Resist and MEOW horde and KARMA and Exploding Labrats alliance have made an agreement to control bug hives for scarab lord title, agreeing to kill all other members of opposite factions, making it impossible for anyone outside of those guild to do the scepter questline. There is big money involved from what I hear.
I know you won’t do anything but just doing my due diligence.
Don’t bother, just start botting instead, nothing is against ToS anymore
Genuine question, is there a part of ToS that talks about cross faction collusion? Can anyone quote it?

This by setting weakaura to know who is “friendly” and no. using discord etc is one thing as its outside of the game, this is inside the game, other than that its the griefing of corpsecamping ppl completely even quite far out of the hives to make sure they dont get back.

Out of all the possible flavors out there you prefer to be salty. That’s sad.
If this isn’t about discord:
Are they chatting with each other ingame? How are they directly communicating? Because tagging people of a certain guild in a way only visible to you is not communication, afaik.
If this is about the communication via discord:
Does that mean that being on a Discord for a Server is illegal? Like if there’s a cross faction discord with tons of people on both sides being on it that’s illegal?
I wouldn’t pin my hopes on people being banned for that. They’d kill whole realms if they banned everyone on one of these servers. Also, it only counts if they are playing that character at the time, right? What if they talked while not being logged into any character at the time? I’m bringing this up because otherwise it would be a violation of the TOS just to log on to a character on the other faction on a PvE realm.
This just shows how much of a circus WoW classic is, its unplayable its disgusting and takes all the fun from the game, tbh this is just killing all the old vibes from vanilla.
Its gonna be really interesting if blizzard does something against this or not. Back in the days, they surely would ban those players as it was not even allowed to have contact to the other factions. Nowadays, every realm has a discord server where alliance and horde freely communicates (btw., is that still against ToS?).
using specific weakaura codings can be seen as a way of communication, also by forcing ppl to stay out of certain areas by corpse camping them until sickness even tho if theyre 100yards away will be illegal aswell
edit: i do not want ppl to be banned since as mentioned earlier that would just end up with a dead server, but something needs to be done with this as this is killing off ppl’s motivation to even attempt unique events which is impossible due to coalitions between horde and allies.
Can you explain how data is transferred from the horde player to the alliance player via weakaura? I don’t understand what you mean with communication. I thought weakaura just lists how long a debuff lasts or something.
I suggest a 30 Day ban to All guilds involved, so they cant get Mount.
Probably is if the ToS was something that was even followed anyway.
But as it stands now you get not even a warning for a death threat against someone IRL and you’re banned for 6months for casting dispell on the wrong guy.
So who knows, not even Blizzard knows their own rules anymore.
No need for a 30day ban, but something that would work is a complete quest reset and a 7day ban, still have enough time to make it with proper gameplay

Theres even a clipped video of a certain horde member calling in his alliance allies. on a horde guy who killed him whilst mind controlled.
