Let’s dispel once and for all with this fiction that Horde is getting high elves. The Horde is getting blue-eyed blood elves. Lor’themar Theron is undertaking a systematic effort to change his country, to make Quel’Thalas more like the Alliance.
That’s why he passed Care’dorei and the stimulus and Brightwing-Windrunner and the deal with Suramar. It is a systematic effort to change Quel’Thalas. When I’m Lord-Regent of Quel’Thalas, we are going to re-embrace all the things that made Quel’Thalas the greatest nation in the world and we are going to leave our chil’dorei with what they deserve: the single greatest nation in the history of Azeroth.

i think the meme is more that alliance is getting dabbed on at extreme decibels because now they’ll never get non-purple, blue-eyed elves.

Idk about you but if talanji spoke with a cockney british accent it’d really throw me off. I find it immersive & cool characters like Bwonsamdi etc have the appropriate voice actors.
If any1 remembers the ICC voice acting where the voices are completely off they know what I mean.

think the raised issue is more that it’s (almost) always JUST trolls/other savage races that get PoC VAs
I suffer through it on the reg, ICC has some of the worst voicing of them all

Well I mean ever since MoP when something happened with Tyrande’s voice actor she started to sound very troll-ish for someone that had played through WC3, which threw me off quite a bit.
And there’s plenty of white voice actors for savage races too- Tauren, orcs, Vrykul, and Worgen come to mind.
You are rught however that there aren’t that many non-white voice actors for the more “civilized” races, but I think that’s been due to the fact that we haven’t had many darker skinned characters.
