Sure they get teh same loot, but you can channel it all to one character if you wanna have a main one later. So no, again, it’s not the same.
You get educated.

In short.
You mad.
Cause you bad.
I guess u have never heard of a guild, mate. your point is moot.
Because it puts all this power in one person. Not five. Not requiring you to find a group, team up, work together, time your attacks, targets and so on.
It’s like you pay extra and receive a buff that makes your abilities/spells five times more powerful.
@Superium
Really? Try getting a guild farming stuff for you for free with how much time you feel like, they don’t get anything, forever.
It’s not moot because it’s not the same. Multiboxing doesn’t make you depend on other people.
And why does that matter to YOU? There is no difference for you.
For fun. I know, shocking that someone would actually play for fun… It’s a challenging and interesting play style that adds tremendous depth to the game.
It is also great to just get to log in and play when it works for you. As you said yourself, if we are the whole group, we don’t need to wait for others to show up. There are no ninja-looters, there are no drama que ens, no rage quitters, I don’t inconvenience people anyone if I randomly need to go AFK because my kid wow up. This is beyond great with erradic and limited playin time. I am sure you can see the appeal…
Maybe you also want to ban playing the AH where single accounts make more money that any random 100 other players?
Or maybe you want to ban AoE farming for beeing ‘dishonest’ towards single target specs?
And even the players that farm certain area’s for many hours to farm specific rare item drops or high vendor price items.
I am, you are not. You make assumptions and ignore facts.
For fun? Alright, why is it fun? bEcAuSe YoU cAn oNe ShOt PeOpLe
Don’t break their rules,good one.
They are making the rules.
I’m not even gonna dignify you with a proper response. These things you brought up are so disconnected from multiboxing it’s embarassing.
Yup, and that’s kinda the point of having up to 8 licence of wow per battlenet.
Be able to connect more than one character at a time.
Do you realy think that i should be fine (and fair) for bliz to enforce a one player = one account rules and prevent legit and paid accounts to get online ?
Objectivly, “one player=one account” it’s not a bad rules, but it’s not something you can change allong the way, that had to be there since day one. And right now, it’s day 5475.
And as the Blues have said many time one keypress, one action, even though Multiboxers send that keypress to every open warcraft.
Of course you don’t because they make all your arguments look silly.
There is that ignorance again.
Oh but there is.
A single player can one shot me. That single player without multiboxing could not one shot me. If he was not there there was no enemy.
Now if there are 5 actual players, they still kill me, but there weren’t five actual players, just one with five characters. In your example, there would have been 5 players and one multiboxer, in that case, it would not have mattered because they would have still killed me. But those other players were not there, and that single player could still one shot me.
Enforce playing one character at a time yeah, I think that should be enforced. I don’t think it’s fair for one player to have the force of an entire raid aslong as they are rich enough to buy enough accounts.
For wow blizzard (money gains) and for brain dead gamers - yes.
For clearminded gamer’s community - no.
Too bad the ‘clearminded’ have already decided that multiboxing is okay.
Too bad they run the show and not the ignorant.
No… because running a team of characters and seeing what you can accomplish with them is tremendous fun. People like raids and dungeons right? Why would it be less if a challenge and fun to try and clear some of the same content with you controlling all of the characters and being responsible for keeping up at the dots, debuffs, defensives, dispells, character movement, encounter mechanics etc?
This is your problem: you think multiboxing is just going 5v1 and nothing else. Do you know how boring that is to any of us beyond seeing it for the first few times. I could not care less about killing a single player and usually I don’t even bother. Now a group equal or bigger in size to mine? Seems more interesting and like fair game to me.
“Seeing what you can accomplish with them” Ofc. No sh*t. No big revelation there.
Because it’s an advantage, in almost every case, it’s an advantage.
Edit: And again, this is not retail, this is classic. It gives you a tremendous advantage to be able to solo dungeons etc.
