I’m against this idea myself, but I’ve seen quite a few people ask for this.
What do you think?
Should there be “Gladiator tokens” to buy any previous Gladiator mount once you meet the requirement?
Should you be able to purchase previous elite sets once you reach 1800?
You can get every other prestigious reward from SS though, including the 2400 ugly tabard and the Elite weapon skins.
Then if you’re really that good, you can try and get that Crimson Legend R1 title, which is pretty neat.
I do agree that SS should reward Glad mounts, but I think it should be % based because I’m pretty sure it’s harder on a Mistweaver than on a DH.
I’m not agree, because there is people with 2k exp in 3s and they have 2800 cr on shuffle cause of this bad system, they were not allowed to get the gladiator mount, if not everyone will get it easy.
game alrdy full of ppl running around on glad mounts from sl with 1400 players awareness or understanding of any other class than their own which they cheesed glad in sl on some manor
i mean i dont care, even if they made it a vendor bought for everyone at this point
those mounts pretty much mean nothing anymore, its bought or played on some silly comp or cheesed abusing manor where one guy reach 2400 and then they farm the 50 wins on lower mmr like 1800 where two mates hopped on their alts and if the 2400 drop they just go back on mains and push it again, its not like its “50 games won on 2400” for all there is common way of cheesing it
even the 2400 can be gained by a guy from 1900cr playing with 2x 2800 and he will gain more and lose very little, the wow rating system is and always were bad and abused by plenty
those mounts are pretty meaningless now might aswell put into soloq who cares
or was something like retri+arms or dh+chicken a skill based glad that means something from sl if it wasnt bought that is…
some ppl are brainy and are simply good. the mounts however are indicator of nothing especially sl. df mount is perhaps first that looks cool but yeh
i like small ground ones that somehow fit my toons tmog, i dont like very big mounts in general and they are all the size of a SUV family editions. So dont have any desire for one personally
Or maybe this ppl just didn’t play for years arena. They could have just pushed for a time and now play nothing but solo shuffle, because they enjoy it more.
Why is everyone looking so hard down on solo queues? For set up classes, like sub rouge or fire mage, it’s harder then regular 3s where you can communicate.
Personally, I would like to get access to old elite sets. Some of the best transmogs in the game are unavailable sadly. Mounts and titles can remain exclusive for players who obtained them.
I think yes, but only sets that are at least few expansion old. For example, in Dragonflight we can get the sets from Legion. Next expansion we can get the ones from Battle for Azeroth, and so on.
It looks like a matter of time until all of these elite sets and whatnot will be making their return in “Classic” versions of the expansions you all want.
What will happen to the things obtained in Classic versions of WoW remains to be seen in due time (although they’ve said the things won’t be added to the “real” accounts, but only time will tell for sure), but I very much doubt any sort of “token” for old FOMO rewards will be added to the “real” version of WoW (or w/e you wanna call it).
sets as well, i missed so many of them but I was not good enough at given time or just didnt play I dont feel entitled to get gear I didnt for for in the first place especially since the average player is much better nowadays.
Like others have already said in this thread before me, imho, if we are talking about old Elite sets then I’m game, even if it means making sets that I have earned obtainable again. If this incentivises people to come back to the game and queue, I am down for this change any day.
However, imo, NOT for just 1800. There’s nothing wrong with making some rewards just a little bit harder to achieve. Otherwise I feel like that would somehow play a part in future deflation of seasons.
I think that mounts and titles should still remain exclusive to that season.
