Should players who do M+20 or above be rewarded mythic tier weapons?

That’s why I said 2 sides to the idea, I’m neither for or against it.

All I did was point out someone will come along and tell you how terrible it is because they won’t feel special or they can’t get into those runs.

It wasn’t meant to stir a debate

Yes buddy youre absolutely right, im not even close to those M+ numbers you talk about but still i think its not fair for these guys that beat so big M+ to get most likely a 400 ilvl item while a 400 ilvl that chills in first easy 3 bosses gets so much 415 or more ilvl loot. Totally agree with this.

This evil horde MUNSTERS… What did they do again!!!
Ban them all!!! for the alliance, for the king, for the kings dog!!

Alliance-Silvermoon FTW

I have a 415 tf weapon from chest. I read up above they can’t tf.
What am I missing here?

You got a warforge on a (certain +10 because of weekly chest) warforge. which makes the +15 a titanforge… this is the only way to get a ‘titanforged’ weapon.

While I agree M+ weapons should be better, +20 is far too low at the moment. Make it +22 at minimum, and for future reference, increase it based on what the highest finished keys are.

Also hell no to making it drop from runs not done within the timer.

I would be fine with this if class balance in m+ would be much closer.

We also have to take in consideration some classes can get their weapon from the first boss on Mythic. (and also the option for smaller realms to be able to enter the raid on mythic).

This makes me feel so lucky. Eurojackpot this week is 90 million €. Gonna buy a ticket, you never know, maybe the gods if rng continue to smile down on me.

The idea behind this topic is that it’s for those who don’t wanna mythic raid so it really doesn’t matter if it’s from the first boss.

The level from which they drop is debatable, I used +20 because it looked neat proper and high enough, I think it’s best to leave it for blizzard to decide, I like however the being dynamic in relation to which world top is now, kinda like Gladiator / Rank 1 used to be.

One can only dream.

Sorry yeah. You are right
(I feel in the same category. I am not interested in raiding but that first boss is too easy to just do sometimes)

so kinda like WoD Pvp gear? honor was like 700 normal but 730 in pvp and conquest 710 and 740 in pvp(like highest mythic pieces) though obviously less difference then 30ilvls.
Like M+ gear would have bonuses in ilvl n M+ and raids wouldnt but stll would be usablle and oppsite aswell?

Reminder that Normal and Heroic difficulties have a max of 30 people in the raid, while Mythic is capped to 20. Therefore, the logistical argument is out the window from the get-go.

Why would you consider the number of heads in a group as the decider for difficulty, instead of examining what the content requires from the players?

How many people manage to do +20s and how many people manage to kill a mythic boss?

The argument is still valid.

Wow is a MMORPG. Its about people playing together. The more people you want to organise, the more challenging it becomes to get them play together.

Another problem at the moment are balancing issues.
There are several specs underrepresented in 20+ key because they dont provide enough overall compared to other more favored classes.

Content difficulty isnt the issue ehre, but lets take a short look at it:
Battle for Azeroth Keystone Conqueror: Season One

I can see that you completed Battle for Azeroth Keystone Conqueror: Season One
but not keystonemaster

too difficult?

Im pretty sure its alot harder to do +20’s than to do 5 mythic bosses right now.

A dps/heal/tank has downtime in raiding as he has others to back him up, in M+ you have absolutely 0 ability to turn your eyes out of the monitor and your hands out of the keyboard. While what you describe is actually true when it comes to such high M+ numbers things get tight in 5mans

no but they should be rewarded with cosmetics like pandaria and wod CMs

Its not about difficulty.
At some point a key level will be much harder than most mythic bosses.
At some Point PVP is much harder than most mythic bosses

The question is, should M+ provide gear qual to mythic raiding content at some key level
And I say no

M+ is different content to raiding, like PVP is different to raiding or M+
Blizzard provides them with different loot values, and in my opnion, thats how it should be

Well i respect your opinion but honestly since the content is actually harder in 20+ than at least the first 5 mythic bosses ive seen it should at least reward the same ilvl somewere between 15 and 20, feels 15 is too low for 415 ilvl items but yeah.

Raiding max ilvl 415
PvP max ilvl 410 yes?
M+ max ilvl is 400

That does not include WF+TF and ofcourse the chances of obtaining an item inside a raid is alot higher because simply between those 20 someone will NOT need it, between 5 at 20’s that get mostly 400 whoever might be the lucky one to get a TF will need it

Dont forget that M+ is repeatable content

410 adding the weekly cache, plus a 415 random azerite roughly every 2-3 weeks. Which is fine considering that myth raiding is on a weekly lockout.

400 is the base reward and is endlessly spammable, already too much.

Yeah it should be 390 or 395 so that people have a bit of incentive to raid hc
