Ive been doing the quest for sidas bag on 5 characters
ALL of them got the bag on first drop.
isent this suposed to be like less than 1% dropr ate what have happend with that?
Well, took a bit longer for me; don’t remember how long.
Not sure how low the drop rate is supposed to be, but it sure ain’t 1%.

5 times that lucky? i remember back in days u could kill 100 without loot
People just do it wrong.
The wetlands slime bag quest requires you to kill the big bottom of the crypt giant slimes (2) and that’s pretty much 100% chance droprate, the other slimes have absurdly low drops,
for how to solo this as a warrior, make your way down killing 1 by 1 then pull the big slimes and use retaliation and focus one down.
Maybe a big pot and you’ll be fine.
I remember it in vanilla as you either get it first drop or it takes forever.
It took me long time with all characters , you are just lucky. very lucky.
I was pleasantly surprised when it only took me half an hour on my first attempt in classic. The second time I got it after about 5 minutes.
Took me 4 kills, my friend a bit more.
I recall reading on Thottbot back in the days, that som got it on first try, others(like me), would grind for ages,
I belive it’s also a bit of an ingame meme to claim that you got it on the first try.
i had to kill like 50+ so no it’s not bugged 
you are just super lucky
I’ve done it twice now and both times I got it within 5 kills. On private servers I’ve done it 10-15 times over the years and each time it took me well over 30 minutes of grinding to find her bag.
