Because if you don’t defend the Sunwell, the entire world is doomed. How many times must this be said?
Perhaps you should make the horde understand that when they’re “killing us on sight”
I wouldn’t mind a simple teleport either. As long as the majority of Silvermoon is exclusive to the Horde idc.
Just don’t go where they tell you not to go in there city.
What do you need in the Silvermoon civilian parts to save the world?
It’s not about needing something from there, it’s about the plausibility and integrity of the story. Like I said I play on an rp realm and things like this matter to me.
I care about this too, which is why I’m for it.
You guys who complain about this are completely blind to the feature. Bel’ameth and Gilneas were a mistake. This to me looks like a sign that Blizzard listened to the complaints.
Do you REALLY want Horde to be walking around Stormwind like they own the place in the future? What if they revamp Darnassus? Do you want them there as well?
Yes read that longer answer I just gave that other person.
Even from a story and RP point it makes sense the way it is
The horde and the alliance aren’t at peace it’s a ceasefire it makes sense to not allow the military personal of the alliance in parts of the city they don’t need to go to fullfil why they are in Silvermoon
False. We’re not at war currently. Not at all.
Well screw that. If someone’s not being nice to me, I’m not helping them.
Where’s that choice? Exactly: There isn’t one.
So at the very least alliance players should be shown some respect and be treated equally like horde players have always been treated in similar situations (Dalaran and Bel’Ameth).
See and explore. Because that’s fun.
And it’s not ‘saving the world 100% of the time’, if it was then introducing housing in this particular expansion is the stupidest idea ever. ![]()
You can keep repeating that, but it doesn’t make it true.
Bel’ameth and Gilneas don’t compare to major faction cities. We can’t walk around in Stormwind, Ironforge etc either. Those are not the same. It’s pretty disingenuous to claim otherwise.
Look: We are special. We are the heroes of Azeroth. We are beyond factions. We aren’t simple grunts or footmen. So yeah, I think it would be perfectly fine for ‘Zugface the Orc Warrior’ who helped saved Azeroth many times to be allowed access to Stormwind.
That doesn’t mean we’re going to let a horde army march into Stormwind, but the player characters are just different.
So you’re going to sacrifice the whole world because you couldn’t explore Silvermoon?
Oke when did we made peace?
Where did those peace talks took place?
Please tell me cause I would like to look that up to reeducate myself in the lore.
But if we are at peace why are those guys at the stormwind gate attacking me when I want to explore and have fun?
I mean if we have peace that’s fine by me I said month ago that they can turn Silvermoon neutral but that is only acceptable when all cities turn neutral.
And you get respect by the horde.
They let you into there city and give you a nice place to stay.
You guys could also sit in a war camp made of tents outside the gates
Yep. I’m stubborn that way.
Show me respect or we all die.
During the timeskip after Shadowlands.
Well I am rerolling and making a Horde character, this is clearly an expansion intended to be played horde-side, and if there’s anything I’ve learnt about WoW is that if you want to play it your way against how the devs have imagined it, you’re in for a world of pain. And I’m too old for that.
Just as BFA I will play both factions, this time with my main likely being on Horde side
See, this is the problem, people not really reading posts and jumping to the reply section.
Someone said that after Midnight the city should go back to full Horde. What else would happen but being flagged for PvP as Alliance player if you go to a capital city ? You know, like on live.
The design choice(s) is beyond dumb at any rate and they will no doubt backtrack.
Between the cinematic, conflicting and fragmented info, this gamescom to present the new expansion was messy. Only good thing to come out of it will be Housing. Sylvanas returning is sure as hell not a good selling point.
And why would the Alliance get a smaller hub ? In Dalaran Horde had its own space and was free to roam around except in the Alliance section. For 2 expansions. So not only it makes no sense storywise (you call for help and when they come you hold a gun to their head, smart move !), but it’s just another showcase of Horde bias. They could have gone with Vindicaar as hub or anything else purely for Alliance then.
But between slop writing and laziness, we get this. This next expansion sure as hell is looking to be Mid indeed.
Yes KoS
Silvermoon is a Blood elf City
No humans no void elves and no dwarves allowed
I think that’s an unacceptable ask from the devs.
They’re being really disrespectful to every alliance player.
And what exactly showed that peace?
Where can I look that up?
Who decided that peace?
As long as I can’t see that peace and no one tells me that there is peace I can’t believe in that peace I’m sorry
Fine. Then no help.
Have fun dying.
Unfortunately that’s not an option Blizz is giving us.
We are forced to help these ungrateful pieces of elf poo.
