Silvermoon should stay Horde

So cold, ugly and sad views

It was never your city the moment you decided humans are more important then you own people.

Well it’s one or the other, if your serious about High Elves being playable.

Blood Elves and Void Elves won’t be scrapped now. Blood Elves have their own questlines and are part of the new player experience. Void Elves are the incurable accident.

High Elves can be their own thing, but they have to be their own in EVERY single way. So name which one.

Silvermoon and Quel’Thalas aren’t options.

I just dont want to be in horde, using fel and killing wyrm babies for magic

i never kill any blood elve, except those demons with horns and glaive.

and Deathknighs

and vulperins

Well that option in removing that and giving it to the Alliance because “muh feelings” just ain’t going to cut it.

To be a real High Elf fan, you have to know the race as an independent. If you can’t accept that, then what you really want is just Blood Elves to be ported over to the Alliance side with no say so from the Blood Elf fanbase. That’s NOT being a High Elf fan.

also alliance.

Be in a 3rd faction, neutral or not. But not in the hoaaarde :dracthyr_cry_animated:

And all water supplies come from and to the Maelstrom which is right near Queen Azshara’s lair…so, no water supply is good for Azeroth then, with that line of thinking.

That’s NOT being a High Elf Fan, because your still obsessed over a race that is and will always be, Horde.

But you did kill blood elves, so did the rest of the silver covenant and Umbric. Horde is not your enemy anymore. Arthas, Garithos, Jaina etc are not Orcs.

Sunreavers deserved to die =)

So its not about your people you just hate non elves which was never their personality since they already allied with demons, void abominations, aliens and others. Your headcanon is not the lore.

There is a key issue with creating the sanctuary withing Quel’thalas you see guys.

Blood Elf lore heavily bases itself on the unity of the people. Whole mess with Quel’lithien lodge was that High Elves living there were exiled because they outright refused the new doctrine of using alternative ways of sating their magical thirtst aka sucking out mana of the living creatures.

They were exiled because Lor’themar could not afford to rule a divided people. Cruel but ultimately wise decision. What is the cost of a few exiled rebels for the sake of an entire nation?

Creating some kind of autonomous ground for the Ren’dorei is completely counter-productive. It would be going full 180 degrees on the on the previous decision. And just like then it would cause plethora of absolutely unneeded headache to Lor’themar.

Blood Elves as they are right now seem to be very united with no visible polarisation within them. Why change that by inviting obviously non-conformist exiles who will spread nothing but ferment around questioning the legitimate government within a stable country?

Take some logic into that. Quel’thalas is no China.
It is a Kingdom in the state of Interregnum, not One Country, Two systems.
Western part of Silvermoon is not Hong Kong or Taiwan.

haem no i dont hate draenei, gnome, night elves, tauren for exemple.

Sunreavers knew about the theramore bomb and they decide to stand up with Garrosh and let people died in theramore, including high elves.

You re actually friend with orcs, they are alien too.
undeads…

part of you are demonhunter, worked with ilidan and demons

Surviving high elves comprise a mere 1% of the original high elven population, with the blood elves accounting for the remaining 9% of it.[2][11] Since Kael’thas took 15% of the blood elves to Outland[11] (i.e. 1.35% of the original high elf population), and since Kael’thas’ army numbered at least 2,000[70] it follows that the total high elf population is currently at least 1,481 (and at least ~148,000 prior to the Third War).

In relation to the playable races, Blizzard has stated that the high elves have a considerably smaller population than even the Gnomeregan Exiles.[71] High elves are a rare sight even in Alliance lands,[72] and are considered a fallen, all-but-extinct race.[73] With the destruction of both Theramore and Quel’Lithien, the bulk of the remaining high elf population appears to be bound to the Silver Covenant in Dalaran, the Allerian Stronghold in Outland, and the Quel’Danil Lodge in the Hinterlands.

According to Vereesa Windrunner, high elves seldom give birth and very rarely give birth to twins.[74]

There are actual more High elves than Smurf ones, wandering isle pandas, lightforged draenei, maghar and maybe even Nightborn.

And we CANT actually play HE, thats so unfair and not normal

Allied race since 2nd war
Iconic race
lot of demands from players
few mega topics on HE

And now the high elves lose their last sanctuary meaning they are homeless without Theramore and Dalaran. You should get the memo that Blizzard and especially Ion do not like high elves at all.

Infact the best soldiers of the Sunfury just look at Kayn. A literal Gigachad.

Stalward allies who risked their lives for us and didn’t use us as canon fodder to reclaim Lordaeron for humanity alone.

Fanlyr Silverthorn and Thalen Songweaver were Garrosh bootlickers who went into hiding for years and are currently MIA.

A lore distinction that isn’t even accurate… we played the blood elves still under the alliance banner, and their affiliation was not clear even after TFT.

The alliance sends the dwarf ambassador to Silvermoon to ascertain the position of the blood elves, the night elves have now warned the alliance about these former Highborne and their role in the original invasion of the legion that their leaders absconding with Illidan suggests a return to this behaviour they have already done ones.

However the alliance isn’t sure… the night elves join the expedition to Quel’thalas to spy, in order to find out if the blood elves truly have turned to the Legion. Well, Kael’thas ’ eventual end proved that they had right to be concerned, however it also turns out that the elves in Quel’thalas hadn’t sided with the legion, however they took the alliance representatives as spies and an at of aggression , and then turned on their former allies, shedding blood.

This is a drastic action, and matches blizzards statement at the time of TBC that they wanted to make the blood elves fit the horde better, so they were making them more aggressive, more horde like.

Anyway, Silvermoon was aligned with the alliance first, and when we play the high elves, we play them as alliance members, when the vast majority rename themselves blood elves, they are also still officially a part of the alliance, and when Illidan rescues Kael’thas from Garithos’ prisons, they are still a part of the alliance.

Yeh, they could have gone horde… they should have stayed neutral, because after classic the developers decided to make the horde prominent and from TBC onwards, alliance faction have always gotten the second best, the less cool, the minor arcs and supporting ones, and the vast majority for their races have suffered from lack of progression. The narrative has been horde dominant - this was an intentional decision.

Still, however, the Nightborne are part of the kaldorei , they are the kaldorei sub-race, in the kaldorei city of Suramar in the pre-sundering kaldorei culture they are the night elves of old - you would have expected them to naturally join up with the in game playable kaldorei faction like every other sub-race of a main race did… so it is true that they took this part of the night elves, and put it ion the horde intentionally, but even on the horde, it is still part of the night elves, just like the blood elves are still part of the high elves, they’re just not on that Faction as a nation of elves.

WE did not expect them to join the horde though, and blizzard spent a lot of time explaining to us why they did this (for population balance) and how, at the end of FT, we didn’t blame the alliance at all, we all thought Garithos was a dick for mistreating Kael’thas, and we knew Illidan was not working for the Legion anyway, we were expecting a warcraft 4 to have a 5th playable Illidari faction, and that the blood elves would go there or remain alliance.

We didn’t expect them to join the horde any more than we expected the Amani trolls to join the alliance… The move was not a lore driven one, as big a “twist” as it was, it was not an organic one because it was not made because of the story direction, it was made for gameplay populations, , both in the west and in far east asia to get people to play horde or their girlfriends to play pretty characters with them on the horde.

They then generated a story to show how. I’m not saying it was impossible for the blood elves to join the horde, that’s stupid, in a creative project anything is possible, you just write it so,.

But Blood elves going horde WAS NOT a planned thing. The original direction was that High Elves and Goblins would be the next playable races. Outland and Northrend did not come with release because they were not completed in time for classic’s launch, so they were postponed for later.

High elves were what were scheduled, this was then changed to be blood elves on the horde to fix the population imbalance between the factions that was clear and debilitating the planned game experience that required equal numbers, especially when it came to the newly introduced Battlegrounds. World Pvp, was horrible for horde players who were often overwhelmed, however the horde players coped well by often travelling in groups and becoming very good, but they were still often vastly out numbered and often ganked.

Battleground queues were horrible for alliance players because they were massive queue times as not enough horde teams were in comparison, this was frustrating a lot of play. And so they decided to do this change. They also told us about this, and told us this reason for them doing so. They believed people didn’t play horde much because they were not aesthetically appealing, this was one of the biggest concerns , especially from the far east asian players.

First, you are a liar
You are a Troll fan and a certified forum troll since 2006 and only the Titans now why you are not banned already from here, like from the other forums
Second, Silvermoon and for that mater any elven race should ditch the Horde and should be neutral

We all know you made that all Up. We get it you are angry because in your opinion all elves should be alliance but that won’t happen.

there is a point. Its also make no sense that nightborn are in horde :-/

if you know where Tyrande was born…

actualy with blood elves, nightelves, low cost high elves (smurfs), nightborns

we can have our elve nation as 3rd faction

having portal to each city link suramar, belameth, silvermoon and a new city for true high elves

Actually they had but that whas only the High Elves in the Allerian Stronghold. But I agree with all those Retcons on the mattter it is easy to lose oversight.

Yeah this is exactly the problem.

Yeah they where part of the Alliance for what? 4 Missions? With the third Mission all the Blood Elves where improsoned and getting to be executed for High Treason because they accepted the help of the Naga so they where no longer part of the Alliance.
Or just because Arthas where the whole human campaign still the crown prince of Lordaeron would you count him as part of the Alliance.

Because the Embassor WHAS a spy. The alliance never really had intention to take back the Sin’dorei to the Alliance. They just needed to know if they are now part of the Legion and need to be taken out ASAP or not.

Yes it whas with the Alliance first and yes you may have been still part of the Alliance through Dalaran, Theramore, Stormwind or the Allerian Stronghold but most Blood Elves left the Alliance thanks to Garithos actions.

First ingame the Nightborne actually wanted to join the Alliance but thanks to Tyrande suddenly acting like Maiv the Nightborne where refused and so instead joined the Horde with the remnants of the Highborne. Reminder that during Classic the Kaldorei reminded the Alliance to be wary of the High and Blood Elves because they where once the High Borne that caused the legion first to appear.

Though to be fair, that Blood Elves outside of Kael’thas exist whas another Retcon because by TFT Lore Kael’thas gathered ALL surviving Elves of Quel’thalas and Dalaran and the collectively named themselves Blood Elves so by TFT stand the only High Elves where the ones that joined with Jaina and founded Dalaran.

That is what I agree with and not only where she whas borne. While Tyrande may have been during WC III a bit impulsive, she also showed compassion to the Blood Elves and accepted during WotLK the invitation talks to the surving Shen’dralar to allow them to join society again.
Personally I think that with Legion/BfA the Alliance should have got the Nightborne and Horde should have instead got Darkfallen/Dark Rangers as an Allied Race.
