@Kahina but exactly the same thing existed since wow started, now you call it “soft reserve” back then you just called it ninja … people getting kicked out of dung for no reason, leaders outright stealing stuff, people afking and pretending to “have phone calls”, people leaving when they dont get what they want …
Wow, now I truly feel sorry for you. Which realm did you play on in Vanilla onwards. I had the most enjopyable time with a community of people, many of them still playing (but sadly only Retail).
I had too, we all formed a guild together and played till wod, and we didnt care about remaining 90% of server …
We also had dude who got into beef with his guild master and it went so far the moment he logged in people would start spamming him to do a flip … we were the only guild who would play with him and we are friends since then …

An easy compromise, put people randomly into a group, they have to walk in(2+ summon), and leavers get Deserter.

Cannot facepalm hard enough. What do you think which servers rely on cross faction systems with the ever increasing server imbalance. A small hint it is not Firemaw.

I will probably do this too. I dont mind leaving because i will play tank. ProbablY charge people to queue with me so they get a fast queue.
If an item drops first boss and i get in at second boss i can go afk and let me kick after 5 min. Why should i leave when i get 45 min dungeon deserteur KEKW. Most people who think LFD has no downside will start crying soon.
Play dk tank and need 2hand weapon? There is a ret paladin in the group? Why not votekick him so i get my weapon.
No its not the same thing, if you see someone who is making a group and ‘‘soft reserve’’ item you want, you just don’t join that group. how can you call it the same thing :o I rarely see ppl ninja items tbh, why? because they know they will be blackslited on server discord. with dungeon finder, it won’t be the case, because you will probably get ppl from different servers.
In practice this is barely being enforced ever since classic Vanilla ended.
On mega servers like Firemaw there are so many players that it might as well be a random, you’ll probably never see them again.
