It’s dull, grey and super small. No wonder why Blizzard restricted flying -there’s nowhere to fly lol, you can go from start to finish in one swing. Why not even restrict mount like they did in Maw, so we can walk to feel it like a “big” zone?

I dont understand all the hate for this patch, i enjoy it. Its a minor patch focused on catchup gear and cosmetics, its not ment to be some grand adventure, just something new to do for a few weeks while we wait for the next major patch.

I found mogs look really cool I wanted farm all. I liked this isle.
But if players dont care about mogs, sure reason make them feel boring.

from a Subscription + purchase based game like WoW id expect every patch to be a " grand adventure"
ive had more content from other developers in Bug fixes .
- to say its " just a minor patch for cosmetics and catch up" is an insult to the paying SUBS
they are cruising pumping out Forbidden isle 2.0
dont forget they got those Store mounts to rinse you of more money while giving you " content" like sirens isle… lol

I only did the Island for the ring and the ring is so bad now with the gems we have now.

They use this formula of a small zone being released between patches with no flying, scattered with mobs, a 5 min questline every week with lots of time gated content.

It always comes down to money with you people, doesn’t it? Big bad Blizzard “stealing” your money every month and giving you nothing in return, why do you keep paying them?
Some of us are capable of enjoying things without reducing everything to nickles and dimes.

I think this formula is here since molten front…
From a certain point it becomes boring and it’s even worse when it’s just a copy pasta of last mini patch from last expansion
They didn’t bother to change RING for something else
They already told you what’s gonna be there , people played it on test realms and posted everything that’s gonna be there , even in their post they said “its an update for alts to catchup their alts and get ready for season2” that’s it , no one said its gonna be a big update , no one said that that middle season updates are made for “massive content”.
Blizzard can literally announce that they gonna add a small house asset to dornogal , and you’ll see forums post " but but i expected more of this house update , WHY NO NEW RAID?" like what ?.

i feel alt content should be separate from main content since there are players that only play one charater since birth.

I just expect more. And I expect better. And I think that’s reasonable to say.
I don’t think it’s praise-worthy that Blizzard puts out the Anniversary patch, the Siren Isle, and soon Plunderstorm, over the course of 6 months, when the general theme of it all is re-used assets and currency grinds – both with very little substance.
It’s not a redeeming factor that the content has been on the PTR and you could have checked it out beforehand and known what was coming.
The feedback is ultimately the same regardless of whether you first experience the content on the PTR or on Live servers.
And I don’t think my expectations are off here. If everyone was praising the patches we’ve had and I was the outlier who was sitting on the sideline complaining, then yeah, I would look inwards. But when the broader community seems to think that these patches haven’t been very remarkable, then it falls on Blizzard to look inwards and consider if it’s them who are off.

I like the isle, I’m on a quest to farm all the goodies.
It’s something extra and I still have progress to do on my main so I’m not bothered that it’s timegated.
