Skipping bosses in corridor dungeon like PF saves you grand total 60 seconds ,which is minuscule and doesn’t outweigh XP lost.

It takes 30 seconds to kill the boss, it gives gear and nice xp with rested bonus.
And it gives 25% defend zone calling quest per boss.
It is stupid to skip when it takes no time to clear it. Blizzard will probably make it unskippable in the future,

Cause gear pre 60 really matters lol. No they won’t make it unskippable we had Freehold which had even better skip and still has it. Only case when it makes sense to kill a boss in Plaguefall is when a low geared 60 wants the gear. I skip even on my fresh 60s cause of the leveling folk. It’s just not worth it. If you pick Threads of Fate, and you want to level as fast as possible, finishing the dugeon is the way to go. And you finish it faster if you just skip. Anything other than dungeon spam is just waste of time if you choose threads, it takes forever. It’s not 30 sec to kill a boss, you need to clear the trash, so you need at least a minute if not two on the second boss, so that’s 3 mins faster. It might not seem much but it really adds up. If you level by dungeon spam.
Apples and oranges . In Freehold you have shortcut to the last boss ,and by doing skip you save like 10min which makes sense.
PF on the other hand doesn’t have shortcut in it ,and time saved is tiny and doesn’t make sense whatsoever.
Basically instead of doing 10 dungeons to ding ,you will have to do 12 to compensate for that small xp loss each time you skipped.

You really over estimate the exp you get from a boss kill. As I said 3 mins adds up, if you do a dungeon spam. Also I had people not want to skip even if the other four agree to skip, what’s up with that?
Tested personally with two alts ,both fresh from maw ,both with rested xp ,both tanks ,both played by me.
Two bars of xp less with skip,time saved minuscule.
like i said in Freehold and some old dungeons skip totally makes sense , but in corridor dungeons it doesn’t since you are walking next to bosses anyway.

clearing 1st boss trashes + bigger spawns, then boss himself is around 3-4 minutes
2nd boss with it’s trash is around aprox 4 minutes again
Then on top of that you have to add trash mobs if someone doesn’t want to skip 1st room, or after the stairs.
It’s not m+, nobody needs forces there
I did 4 alts with skips, it’s much more efficient.

C’mon man ,most of the time you will have person with bfa gear aka 50ilvl overgeared.
I have just tested it, I got 2,604 exp for a boss kill on an alt. Fully rested. So I think it’s worth skipping 5,208 exp. Even if it was 30 seconds per boss which it isn’t. I’d rather spend 3-5 mins less in Plaguefall in exchange for 5,208 exp loss. While you are getting your 5,208 exp I am already in the next dungeon.
“I must rush this hamsterwheel of a dungeon so I can get to the other hamsterwheel ASAP! I MUST PROGRESS M+!”
Progress is over, and anything you do and you’ll do is irrelevant by your standards.

Yes,and you will have to enter more dungeons to compensate small xp loss for each skip
during journey to 60 .And each dungeon comes with queue time.
Also ,let’s not pretend that skip sometimes doesn’t go as planned

What are you on about? Not everyone enjoys leveling an alt for a month. If you do then good for you.
@Furyeclipser The faster you finish dungeons the faster you get to 60. If it’s a class that can tank or heal, I choose that role and queues are almost instant. In Plaguefall the skip can be perfect if someone doesn’t intentionally sabotages the run cause of all the salt cause of the skip.
I sometimes join a Plague normal or heroic for the zone quests completion if I feel like helping others while I get my daily done.
People who want to skip and throw a tantrum or leave if everyone doesn’t agree with their version of ‘must reach next plateau of grind faster’ are the bane of lfg.
People who want to skip should form their own groups, not sneak into lfg and then try and commander the run.
As someone who has levelled a LOT of alts I can say that skipping doesn’t really get you to 60 any faster- because you’ll be waiting for the next run with less xp gained than if you did a full run. And when I was levelling alts I frequency picked up groups who then went on to run several back to back, whereas skippers tend to leave the party as soon as last boss dies (without waiting for anyone to res who might be dead, etc.).
Funniest skips are when the healer dies and then has to try and get back…if only you’d killed those mobs/bosses you wouldn’t be waiting 3+ minutes for them to sneak back…

I don’t comander the run, if it’s a no skip I don’t say anything, I just insta leave and move to a different alt while the deserter wears off. I’d trade 5,208 exp any day. It’s so miniscule, but if you skip you would be 3+ mins in the next queue. Also it’s not true that I as a skipper leave as soon as the last boss dies, I actually queue for another. The only time that someone dies in Plaguefall normal is when said someone is determined to sabotage the run. Many times the four of us that want to skip just finish the dungeon while the rager tries to solo the bosses for 2,604 exp and a small chanse of a piece of loot which is irrelevant at 60. Besides, skipping only happens on normal once you are 155 you queue hc and enjoy those spectacular encounters, not to mention you enjoy them hundreds of times if a bis drops there for your class in m+.
If you skip 15+ boss on Blackrock No one care. But when you skip 2 boss on Plaguefall eveyone will get mad. People who are mad about this skip are just idiots like earth belivers.

On topic: ppl also might be doing the quest. I finished Plaguefall with only 7/12 samples before because everything was skipped. The dungeon bosses are there to get killed so why not kill them?

I hated that skipping so much and every group did it. I was there just to fill ‘help maldraxus’ bar in ‘fate’ levelling but no - had to que specific Plaguefall twice as much compared to other dungeons and spend much more time(than skip saves) in specific ques as DPS because of dumb skipping…
