Slander from other players - need help(being serious)

Hey guys. I wanna share a story that happened to me - and plz don’t judge me harshly and provide a normal feedback(advice) if you can - cuz honestly I don’t know what to do and I don’t know how many ppl are against me now(because of lies and slander from other players).

A little background for the entire picture:

  1. I transferred to a “Pyrewood Village” realm in mid-February from a really brutal pvp server. Reason of transfer: I couldn’t handle it any longer, cuz it was a hell on earth to get to some dungeons without being ganged by a horde player on a way to them.

  2. I’ve been in 4 guilds so far - the one I am currently in is #5. 3 of them have no significance at all, but 1 of them is important in my story. I was in “Gnomelands Security”, “Delirium”, “I think I Crit Myself” and “Are Souls”. Currently I am a member of “Chronicles of Phalanx” (for 1 day - and person/ppl from “I Think I Crit Myself” already started making it hard for me - but I will get to that later).

  3. Reasons I quit previous guilds:

“Gnomelands Security” - I made a fellow friend there who even did some dungeons with me and talked via facebook, but he was constantly drunk when he played WoW - so I quit just not make it awkward when we had an argument in dungeon(regarding that person being drunk and causing 6 wipes in a row).

“Delirium” - I had an argument in UBRS raid with only 1 person - a tank who caused a wipe. That person CBA’d me(and for a good reason - I agree that I was wrong, and that person was undergeared - so that 1 is on me) so I decided not to spoil anyone’s fun and quit cuz I was judged by other 5 ppl that thought that the line I wrote in raid chat was too harsh -> “Nice tanking. I’m dead”.

“I think I Crit Myself” - that is a guild where I actually got in trouble. Not because I screwed someone or made something illegal or truly amoral.

I was a member of that guild for 10 or more days. I was invited by a person who played a dungeon with me and enjoyed our performance(together).
Guild was fun for a while - I had a few quite extraordinary dungeon runs with guys from it.

But one day(it was a late night), when I was farming Winterspring Blood from Frostsabers, chat became very active all of a sudden. There were a lot of jokes.

I didn’t read chat thoroughly, and I made 1 or 2 jokes - mainly about my ignore list(probably a rude joke - cuz 1 of the guild members was in it and I was unaware of that) -> “that only rapists and murderers are in my ignore list” and “Frostsaber genocide all over again” cuz I abandoned quest and all the blood disappeared from my vault(hence the reason I was in the Winterspring - killing Frostsabers for blood).

Again, I wasn’t watching the chat all the time. Then, during my gaming experience(killing frostsabers) some really weird stuff started happening. Again, I didn’t know who is who in the guild(cuz I knew only a couple of ppl from it - that I played with) - and I didn’t even give any thought to what is happening. Ranks started changing, ppl started saying that they will leave - I didn’t comment on any of that. Then, ppl actually started leaving - that’s when the poop hit the fan.

In next 2 days after that - a lot of ppl left the guild. And then started my own punishment for writing at a wrong place at a wrong time. People started blaming me for being a troll that night and that I am responsible for guild troubles that happened (as it turned out - someone got access to guild rights and changed guild owner to a member along with all lieutenants) - again, I wasn’t aware of that till it was too late.

Ppl actually started leaving because of me and asked their friends to leave the guild as well. Seeing that this take a nasty turn I tried to communicate with some ppl that left, and those that didn’t ignore me, had nothing to say. So I decided that if I left previous guilds to not cause trouble - this 1 won’t be any different.

I wrote some farewell speech, posted it into a guild chat and left, hoping that ppl will actually stop leaving(I don’t know if guys who caused trouble remained in the guild).

“Are Souls” - been a member of the guild for 1 week. Chatted and played some dungeons(no raids) with some members of the guild. The guild is quite new, and only 4 ppl were actually chatting and playing together on a constant basis. Since there was almost no activity in guild chat and those 4 ppl were playing during some really late hours - so I decided to quit - cuz I was playing by myself in general(and staying till late hours to play with a few ppl is not healthy at all).

“Chronicles of Phalanx” - this a guild I am currently in. I was invited by a fellow whom I met in Silithus during my quest run there. We farmed rep together, talked a bit - and back at that time I was still in “Are Souls”, so I asked about joining someday, and well, here I am today.

  1. Raids, Dungeons and help in quests. Those who actually played with me, know that I am not an unreasonable/greedy person. I’ve only been in Ony raid a couple of times - and all those turned to be raid wipes, so I couldn’t get anything out of there, apart from expenses. The only other raid I’ve been in - UBRS. There I was like 9-10 times now, and yes I did participate in loot rolls, but never did I ninja any loot. I don’t even need blue gear in dungeons(even though others do - when it’s not for their char class) - I am a herbalist/miner, so no reason for me to loot something that won’t make me any profit. I always try to help someone in the same zone, if they ask for help - and I sometimes help ppl even when they can’t ask/write.

  2. THE ACTUAL TROUBLE I AM IN.

So as I mentioned, I was a member of “I think I Crit Myself” guild and been in a wrong place at a wrong time.

The reason of this post is my desperation - my char nickname is “Krukovis” and the person I try to reach and solve the issue with is Airrow.
I am not sure whom he was in the previous guild, but he was a person in my ignore list before that incident and I honestly don’t know how he got there.

The point of me writing so much text is this: this guy claims that I am a ninja and a reason that his guild collapsed.

I tried to talk to him - but he tells lies and wishes for me to burn like a witch that I am not.

I really wish I could get chat logs from that guild or better yet any logs regarding my actions in it just to prove him wrong, so I created a ticket to ask if this is actually possible.

Now I need to ask u guys for a favor: this guy along with some other few tells people that I do stuff that I don’t. I would like to get ur opinion on how to deal with this. Transferring to another realm is not an option since I have too many resources and 2 alts on this already. I asked GM for name change, but it turned out to be a waste of time - so I am here, trying to gather wisdom from those who can actually help(judging upon the mistakes I made previously).

As for u my friend Airrow - I wrote this in discord guild chat and write it again here:

“If u are an adult - talk to me in the voice chat and lets settle things there”. I am not ur enemy - never was, and for what it is worth - I am truly sorry for what has happened with a guild. If I had known that such things happen, I would have never even wrote anything in the guild chat.

So, that’s it. That’s my story. If u can - please provide me with an advice.

Have you ever considered writing books?because you can write a lot for a simple thing.So from quick read what I basicilly got from all of this is someone is making up lies and you keep going after it?

First I would always want to hear both sides but since that probably wont happen and lets just say all is true in here,all I’m gonna say it stop it.Do not dig deeper and let it go.You will only make it worse.Doesnt matter if its all true or not.

I had issue with me/guild being called ninja looters because someone got mad he lost roll against all in the group.So he made it up that our member agreed with rest of the group to push greed on the item(skullflame,was early into classic) and he made last roll on need but that didnt happen.They all used the common rule of pugs.If item is worth something,everyone needs it.Unless some rule is stated before the run.

So his GM came to me about our member and demanded the item or he will let everyone know.So i wanted to know what happened.I have been given screenshots of the roll and chat.My member was cleared,they had normal talk,all agreed to just need it,all ok.I showed it to their GM …well it didnt matter…he spend good part of the evening spamming all chats and to me in whisper all kinda things…and well,I didnt give him any attention because there is no point to engage into dissccusion with that kinda moron.So I just ignored it.Its went away pretty fast.Do not talk to morons,its waste of time.

And thats just one of the “beautiful” people I met during WoW…there are some other crazy ones.But since loot was mentioned thought I share my story.

If you have like screenshot of them admitting making this stuff up ,then post on server discord or where ever if you want to just let others know but just move on after that.Drop proof and keep on rollling.but you just going around without anything its waste of time.It will save you some sanity,trust me.

to be perfectly blunt, i think you need to just find some people more similar to your self and perhaps some adults to play with. kind of seems like you keep falling into kiddies guilds with man-babies and teens. id suggest you look for a semi-hardcore guild and join as a social. least you know the people your playing with take the game some-what seriously and wont “generally” be running dungeons after a quart of whisky etc. as for the other guild drama…eh seems like they needed a scapegoat frankly. id just move on, not worth the effort of even thinking about.

How? Only the GM himself can transfer ownership of the guild.

That’s not the only fishy thing I see in the post. There is something else going on and we are only getting half the story.

Blizzard do not transfer GMship to other players in Classic and there is no dethrone either.

Agreed. If OP is not a ninja then I’d say don’t try and win back people who are spouting ‘lies’ about you.

If you are a bad person/ninja then I’d take a break from the game for a few years, grow up and mature a bit, then come back and try the game again when you’re a bit older and hopefully you have a better view of how to treat other players. (And yes, that applies if you’re over 18 as well. I know plenty of people who are physical adults but have the mindset of a 7 year-old when it comes to video games).

I’d also say keep the banter out of WoW unless you KNOW for a fact that your guild is full of bants players. If you offend one person then, from your example, you’ll get a chain reaction and start offending a lot of different people. It’s very hard to convey jokes or sarcasm over the internet, so I’d say leave it out altogether.

Well, to be honest - I am not sure, since I was only a newbie in the guild and didn’t know anyone from the Lead team there.

All I know is that some ppl left, and after that guys in private message channel told me that someone actually got hold of rights to change guild member statuses. And that the guys that were joking were the ones who actually made change to guild members.

I’ve never been in the successful raid(till today - my first Onyxia) with open loot option - let alone lived till the end of it(looting time). So me being the ninja is out of the question - and I haven’t done any dungeons without roll even once. Yes I may have angered a few herbalists or miners with me being faster in herb/ore gathering - but cmon, that is not being a ninja and it’s called a competition(especially if we are talking Rich Thorium Veins or Black Lotus).

Now that I had some time to remember things - there was one more thing that might be considered rude by lgbt members of the community - but honestly I didn’t mean it in any racist way when I wrote things that I wrote.

Guys in the chat were making *nal joke - like i.e. “*nal [Blood of Innocents]” or something like “*nal [Carrot on a Stick]”. Honestly I simply saw those - laughed(didn’t read through the chat before those) and posted some of mine - like those I mentioned above.

So to summarize: I am really hoping that Airrow will talk with me - even if it will require some supervision(so that things won’t go out of hands) and we can reach some understanding. I am not a ninja or an 4r5ehole(well apart from mining/herbalism) and I hope that ppl will actually believe me for once…
