Slimes after patchwerk benefit from leeway (please change)

The slimes after patchwerk in Naxx benefit from leeway, which can problematic because it means if you do the wrong movement you can get hit from a pretty ridiculous range. Most notably if you try to strafe, then jump as you cross in front of slimes as a taurnen male you’re almost guaranteed to die no matter how far away you are.

I get that leeway is just a part of classic, but it feels extremely clunky on these mobs, and especially with leeway for taurens easily exceeding 15 yards at times. I think it would be good to disable leeway on these slimes, as i’m pretty convinced it is the cause of like 90% of deaths on those slimes, and most players don’t understand what causes increased leeway. Unless you pvp a lot, or you are a mage aoe farmer who deals with it all the time.

Its not part of classic, its part of bad net.
They should put some download restriction for client, cos back in 2006 i was not downloading client that fast as now.

Agreed. If it doesn’t take at least 2-3 days to download and start playing the game it’s not authentic. Please fix.

“Gamers have improved”. Yet we should fix the slimes that were already moving very, very slow 15 years ago.

The speed is really not the issue. The issue is depending on your movement infront of them, they could have 5yard melee attack range, or up to a 20 yard attack range. The factors are things like are you jumping? Are you moving towards them? Did you show them your back as you moved across? are you strafing?

These are things that say mage aoe farmers will deal with all the time. Just for this mechanic in this raid it feels so clunky. 90% of people don’t understand what’s happening when they get hit from a mile away
