But why…

There are no dirty half elves in Silvermoon.

Am so switching to that cute tiara hairdo and necklace the SECOND the prepatch goes live though. Looks so fab.

Small ears? Haven’t seen those ever.
Guess some people didn’t enjoy long ears elves; although, as far as I know, according to Blizzard Art Blood elves have long ears.

As for the hairstyles, they look ok-ish.

the blue eyes is really Cyan color Green/blue. Blizzard think they are smart “Its not blue its a um…its a different kind of green” :man_facepalming:. I wonder if Ion and the devteam is really “communicating” with each other?

Something that bugs me is that we’ll have 20 old school hairstyles, some which have aged very poorly over the years and then maybe a handful of the new ones.

Pls update our old hair styles Blizz.

Agreed.
I like my character’s current hairstyle but it would be delightful if Blizzard update it. Maybe adding a texture that makes it look softer or something alike.

Looking good, hope they add more stuff.

I think the illidan hair is for males, but it would certainly be interesting for females.

Love the first two hair styles though! they look amazing.

Not a fan of shorter ears though.

For the time being, the mythic hunter head from Nighthold gives Blood Elves the exact same red eyes you see on wowhead.

It will fix the “undead elf” allied race issue , also adding a Dark Ranger like Velonara saying the Horde is her home aslong as many of her brother/sister Dark Rangers it would be two birds one stone :heavy_check_mark:

I like it.

I am more used to D&D, LoTR small ears Elves.
I always thought the ear size was way too big, they clip through your helmet.
Hopefully the small sized ones can stay hidden beneath the helmet.

Smaller ears doesn’t mean they aren’t full elves.

Well, no not necessarily but the symbolism is pretty clear given that shorter ears typically indicate a mixed heritage in many modern fantasy settings.

I wonder too if they will add some different sized crayola pipecleaners eyebrows too for blood elves and nightelves as ears and eyebrows are one of the heavily defining feature of WoW elves

also what kinda sorcery do they use on their eyebrows that keeps it from blowing around like Gnome pigtails?

I welcome the new ears myself it makes them feel less black and white to me more diverse like goblin ears.

Call it Cyan if you like but for me its blue enough to start laughing again :joy:

As for hairstyles~ some of those short ones are clipping thro ears. I hope that they will fix it instead of leaving this half-assed work.

Trying to make sense of the colors that are datamined is an exercise in futility but you’re right that the teal eyes are lowkey blue in strong light.

As far as we know they might be NPC assets?

Or were there specific player customization tags?
