Actually I’ve never seen as toxic community as the FFXIV one. Those people were literally preventing him from playing the game properly.

Wouldn’t surprise me, people who complain about toxic people usually are the most toxic.
You know how i deal with toxic people? I don’t associate, ignore etc.
If you complain about it it means it got under your skin.
People who are overly defensive about stupid bs tend to lash out easily.

Yeah, I guess he’s accustomed to the crowd, but that was pure harassment imo.
People are even more fed up of SL’s thanks to 9.1, which is no surprise as the changes they had announced for it were just more fuel onto the dumpster fire.
But that aside, the dude could play anything, even My Little Pony and they would still watch him play in their masses.

I saw pictures of the same thing happening when he was trying out eso, runescape and vanilla. Most of the people are apparently his fans spamming stuff like “ASMONBALD” and “OMEGALUL”. There are some with mounts you can’t get anymore that are veteran ff14 players too though.

Yes, I know. These were seasoned FF14 players who did everything they could(including some bards playing “music”) to make his experience as miserable as possible.

If the two million and a half stream is true then odd are he is going to keep on playing ff 14 now ff 14 just need to release something a decent patch and some promotion and bingo.
Without a doubt the most annoying kind of person in society, pretending to be on some moral high ground by calling any person they don’t like or anyone with an opinion they don’t agree with racist, sexist and homophobes… You’ve never meet any of them, it’s so retarded…Honestly I feel sorry for anyone that knows you, especially family that have to see and hear you regularly, it must be horrific…

Brigante suffer from some severe pain, he is not that bad he just got too much intellectual proudness.
whilst its personally good for Asmongold’s stream and FF14 for publicity, it wont change Blizzards philosophy of treating us all as early access testers to a live game.
We have systems that are bad and iterated on. For example this domination armour system its just Benthic/corruption all over again and its just again borrowed power when we don’t need massive borrowed power in the game.
Lets look back in the past, the majority loved the mage tower and Ion has said numerous times we will do that sort of thing when it makes sense. I understand that answer but the concept could be in every expansion giving purely cosmetic items like it did back when it was current content, people loved it but it never got iterated on, it could of even been put in the game something like the brawlers guild etc.
Tier sets went away and it confirmed were getting it back in 9.2. People are hyped for it, you shouldn’t be hyped you should be angry because it shouldn’t of been removed in the first place. It was a system that wasn’t broken, and the good old saying if it isn’t broke don’t fix it comes to mind.
We keep getting system after system that doesn’t make sense and just feels bad, then at blizzcon we get the usual apology now way way way down the line, we agree this and that didn’t feel great and we learned lessons. Did they cause we keep hearing it but keep getting Alpha/Beta testers ignored and bad systems put into place.
We are playing a MMORPG, the point to a MMORPG is having choice, the choice to play hardcore, casual, to min/max, or to just take it easy. This is why things like conduit energy doesn’t make sense, you could say the same to things like trinkets, in the past we had control to do really cool things with cooldowns etc. we just don’t have that choice anymore. Whilst the game tries to advocate saying you have these choices, you really don’t. If you strip away all the diversions were all on a very linier path and funnelled in the same things. WoW has lost its choice it used to offer to players and it feels really bad.
It should be if I want to change conduits every 2 mins I should be allowed. If I feel like when reforgeing was a thing I should have the choice to or not. If I want to skip torghast I should be able to without having being penalised by not being able to get a legendary. The systems can be done way way better and we don’t have a choice, we are MADE to do content. Same for talents and specs there is so many examples where we don’t have the choice anymore to make decisions we want to.
Sorry for the rant but its sad I log on now and I actually hate t he game, I tried FF14 but its not for me, and sadly wow isn’t for me either anymore.
Except all those players’ choices want different things, at the same time…
