So Horde Bias rising again!

Gonna report you for trolling as all you do is insult the Alliance on here atm.

You understood that?

I just see a lot of waffle and some weird symbols that I’m still trying to work out the reason as to why he’s included them in his comment?

Come on, guys, pull yourself together.

You crack on, We’ll see who can make the most coherent case to a GM.

Just spent all day playing Alliance actually, so I can finally unlock Kul Tirans, amazing what you can do when you don’t shackle yourself to one faction alone…

It’s not my fault he writes nonsense.

So, uh, question:
Does anyone have a good source on Alliance ACTUALLY being dominant in PvE during WoD?

Because I’ve been trying to use the wayback machine for sources to no avail. Navigating through the archive of WoWprogress shows only like 31 Alliance guilds in the top 100.

Realmpop archive has 51% Horde to 49% Alliance (at level 100).

So, uh… anyone?

Besides the Metzen-stuff, have you actually saved comments/sources for the developers and who plays both sides?

Anyway, what kind of KT do you want to play?

But resentful mocking isn’t the answer either. Just stay classy, everyone.

I’m not mocking.
I’m honestly baffled as to what the symbols mean.

Was earlier than that, was I -thiiiiink- Cata era? But yeah, all the guilds people whinge about being Horde, had went to Alliance, for some reason Human Female characters were the sought after choice, I don’t know why female, as I can’t see what benefit that would give apart from slightly smaller model?

Not as simple as buffing racials.

Dark irons, kul titans and MGs have some of the strongest racials in the game.
And before people go “but they’re fat, but they’re ugly, but blah” that statement alone proves there’s more to it than just racials.

But there’s more to it than races alone, because alliance pretty races are still in lower standing than belf. It almost makes it seem like thalassian are the answer, but I doubt that too. Just adding helf won’t undo it.

What will? No idea. Complex problem because you’re trying to reverse an issue that self perpetuates.

No one does, that’s the point I was making. No one can prove they all play Horde, no one can prove they all play Alliance, no one can prove they all play Both, unless they actually disclose those details themselves, as Metzen did. Although got to say, as a fellow in the trade I like how different his Thrall and Varian were… He must have needed a few glasses of water between recording that pair!

As to my Kul Tiran, I know what I want to play, but I also know that everyone does them, but I want to do them for a different reason. Tidesage (as a Shaman) almost struck me, but…I’m levelling a Darkspear Shaman, and then its like, my two new alts(the KT as yet unrolled) are both based on Sailors, My Vulpera is very much based on Sinbad the Sailor, I love where I have gotten hm to, and his RP is a hoot, I was much more thinking of basing a KT on people like the real life Captain Morgan, Francis Drake and Walter Raleigh, -But- I wanted to do it as druid, as the idea of a nautical THornspeaker who could be his own Naval and Aerial reconnaissance as a SHip’s Captain was an appealing one.

I think I am going to go Druid to be honest…I like the idea of the Captain being master of their vessel, from deck, from skies, and from deep soundings…

Found 39 Alliance in the top 100 for Tier 11 (Descent/Bastion).
But I admit I had to piece that together with a snapshot of 2015, because I couldn’t find a snapshot of the last 40 before that. It’s 24/60 for the first three pages.
Tier 12 (Firelands) is 20/60
Tier 13 is 18/60.

Historic realmpop data starts in 2012. It’s 54 (Alliance) to 46 (Horde) at 85 there. Percent, of course.

Since it’s a PITA to navigate the archives with limited snapshots, I’ll leave it at that. From what I found, I conclude that if there was some human racial dominance, it was likely in the PvP side of the game, rather than PvE.
Which, to me, makes sense - Every Man For Himself is/was a CC cleanse after all.

We will see how this will unfold in the future. But there is little deny that the Horde enjoys the favor of the developers, if you like it or not. I believe that the old team had the game’s heart at interest but with Ion on the top of the food chain (and his character which is evident that he only plays one character at all as far as we know) it really turned the game into a sour spot to some degree.

I had the very same problem with the KT. I would go with an Outlaw Rogue with the Captain-title and a Tidesage-like transmog for the leather/druid KT. Both genders work perfectly for each given class. I personally don’t believe that the shaman-class works well for them despite the water-nature of the spells. Shamans are usually Trolls/Orcs/Tauren

Why is it that ion cannot be nice to Alliance?

He has a kid’s mentality when it comes to being fair to the opposite side of that he favours, that’s why.

Why can’t the other in blizzaard deal with it then?

Because Ion Hazzikasiktas doesn’t wanna share his wage with someone else, he wants to have all money for himself hence doesn’t want a partner who is supposed to deal with Alliance side of the things. He wants to portray himself like the guy who deals with everything, in reality he doesn’t, he deals with only Zugzug side of the game and almost completely ignores Alliance side.

And why haven’t he gotton demoted yet if he causes subscription loss?
