One has to ponder why there’s always a group of frost mages and rogues ready to waste everyones time by forcing a turtle? What do you guys gain out of this?
This may be a crazy concept for you to grasp, but some people play for fun, and ill admit, the pve rush meta is incredibly boring.

Ah so fun to see undead rogues and mages speak in broken language to say “no honor for you noobs”. So much fun!
They are farming very good honor.
There are many people who are already R14 or the rank they want to be, a lot of them now just want to PvP for the fun of it with their new gear (and often massive power advantage over rankers).
There are also those who dislike the PVE meta and want to force long PvP games both for fun and to grief the PvE meta rankers who they think ruin the game. The problem is that there are no AB/WSG to play and layering makes the world dead so the only place these guys can go is AV.
A good solution would be Blizzard buffing the honor in AB / WSG and putting a timer on WSG to make these instances viable and active, I know many would rather spam AB than AV if the honor was at least somewhat worth it

I find it to be the complete opposite. In majority of my games, horde is rushing north to get a quick Vanndar kill. While several alliance always group up to slow and annoy us. It’s their loss though, since alliance rarely win. I don’t mind at all though since I’m playing horde. If alliance want to grief their own team by trolling and losing, go ahead.
But ofc, sometimes horde decide to turtle aswell. Perhaps I’m just lucky to not end up in these games a lot. I do find it to be less turtle trolls during peak hours though, and more people wanting to waste everyones time during nights, etc.

Yeah, everyone is out to get you and your honor gained. No way anyone can play this game any other way, than the rush meta, and still have fun. Preposterous!
If you see a turtle, leave if you dislike it. The amount of entitlement in some

They are literally blocking team progress which is a reportable offense. Anyone who purposely turtles should be suspended.
I report everyone writing “let horde win”. Those are traitors and must receive permanent ban.

Yes, Alliance are far, far worse for turtling. Often there will be so many who turtle at Balinda that the people doing objectives aren’t able to kill Drek because there aren’t enough of them. They then end up wiping and getting sent back to SHGY, nobody knows what to do so at this point so you get a brainless turtlefest.
Did it ever occur to you that “meta” is not the only way to play this game? And i’m sorry, that someone is messing with your “optimal” “minmaxed” “bis” strategy, but guess what, not everyone is a metaslave like yourself, so the only advice I can give you here is this:

Unsure if troll post, but as much as I hate getting thrown into a turtle game and getting grave yard farmed straight away, turtles can be pretty fun too even if they aren’t efficient
Killing people mid can be so much fun. Id never blame anyone doing it. I couldnt care less about the pve enjoyers trying to get their r14 asap avoiding any pvp.
