In the middle of a battle Sylvannas stops time to look at Anduin with admiration, her skin tone appears for the first time to be almost human and her eyes are covered in sadness. (Can´t post picture from the BfA intro)
It´s not the first time and neither was it the last that shows Sylvannas in a short moment of silent sadness when it comes to dealing with Anduin, it´s at times like she sees something she has lost and knows it.
Short of sociopaths without the ability to feel empathy most “villains” in history have always loved someone besides themselves, Sylvannas sealed her destiny in the Arathi Highlands when she ordered the execution of her own subjects, from there the plot twist evolved at a slow pace but it never paused. In Legion more was revealed and finally we all know what happened in BfA.
She wants to hate Anduin and has taken steps to reinforce her beliefs but every time there is this weird sad moment as she gazes upon the boy king, it´s like she lost something, Anduin found it along the way and she subconsciously acts like Anduin is holding her heart every time they speak in SL.

considering their age difference, I would run away if i was anduin. Then again, she chained him up in a secluded tower in the most inescapable place in the universe. So i guess, he has to go for it.

I chose my words carefully in the title, she is not in love, she “loves” him in a weird way and has had the same expression in cinematics over and over, only for a second or so, hard to explain when I cant post pictures here. It´s not just admiration, it´s like Anduin has something she longs for.
Could of of course be those boyish looks 
Can we not romanticize/sexualize every relation, contact or confront?
Not to mention that Sylvanas is Undead, an animated corpse, not a living being.

She loved his father before. I think her favorite quote would be like father like son.
Kump, I wrote “love”, not “in love”. You can love someone without romance or sex being involved.
Maybe Sylvannas feels responsible for Varian´s death, she had to retreat but could she have saved him? Did she love Varian? Many seem to think so, I just believe she had great respect for the late king.
Sylvannas seems so desperate for Anduin´s approval, almost like a mother wanting her son to see her for the first time. I wrote “weird love” because I do believe Anduin is holding that heart of hers and she doesn´t want it consciously, unconsciously she may however be craving for it.
She is not on the path to redemption, she can´t be redeemed and she knows it. She will die for what she believes in and that may very well be for Anduin when the curtain draws.

But it makes total sense lore wise, both her sisters went for human staffs and swords, why would she not?

There’s still a very disturbing age difference and you should be ashamed. This ship is as disgusting as Rokhan x Talanji.
She reminds him of life. They are complete opposites of each other - hope/desperation, Light/Darkness, Life/Death, empathy/apathy. So forth. Opposites attract ?

Sylvanas is a corpse. And even if she wasnt, she is a Mass Murderer. And even if she wasnt, she is a completely different Race, and not in a Black and White-Way, in a Cat and Dog-Way.
And you are disturbed by the age-difference?

Just because I spoke of that doesn’t mean I dislike that any less 
if anything the people defending her actions for whatever reason make me raise my brow.
