Oh, a demonhunter in the wild. I thought your people have gone extinct after dominating DF for half the expansion?

Honestly tho, I don’t get the whining. I play survival and usually just AOE stun → AOE root BM pets during the Call of the Wild Burst … never had any big problems against that spec.

I feel like we need BMs to keep caster in check. Before BM gets nerfed , Shadows , Mages, Warlocks need to be hard nerfed.

Also Ele and Disc shouldnt be playable

I imagined, also because now it seems that every post someone writes is “nerf warlock for starters” like a bot. It makes me laugh a little because destruction is almost bordering on unplayable and has the highest death rate in the arena among all the classes, affliction has already been knocked out several times, and demonology is a BM without instant, without mobility, without kick, without pets that become immune to everything, with cast time bursts and with less damage

BM is absolutely an outlier. This mentality than when an OP spec is being discussed, we must always point to every other spec to try to justify, is so stupid to me.

Pet does nothing, half the time the buttons of BM pets dont work, pets are somewhere rooted or attacking random stuff, press stun 3 times and never works, etc.
Kill Command should actually get buffed not nerfed because 25% of the time it does nothing, just spamming it doesnt go off, just use cobra shot instead.
Maybe in 5 to 10 years they will fix pets A.I., OR NOT.

Ele and Affli are the speccs that are the least fun to heal against.

Maybe rogue too, but there it feels more like you can kinda outplay or counterplay them. But Ele will just randomly starts blasting the whole team while being a tanky tower and Affli is just frustrating from a gameplay flow. Doesnt even matter if affli is strong or not, aslong as dispell = silence AND damage, its no fun to face

Ele and Affli are unfun to heal against, because they apply high pressure - you could easily put BM into that category, and fury warrior IF you play a comp that doesn’t kite warrior as well

OTHER roles in the game find other stuff frustrating, just like healers find high pressure DPS’ frustrating. If we nerfed specs to the point of ‘being unplayable’ which was the original suggestion this discussion is started out of, then we’d have to nerf literally everything in the game.

Because that result in:

  1. Nerf Ele and Affli till they’re unplayable, since healers find high pressure DPS’ unfun to play against
  2. Nerf Fury, DH, WW because low mobility casters find them unfun to play against cause they’re impossible to kite
  3. Nerf casters cause when a single melee is in a 3 caster lobby they get kited all game which they find very unfun
  4. Nerf rogue because literally everyone finds it incredible unfun to be disrupted as much as rogues can do

Moral of the story: EVERYTHING has something they struggle against and finds unfun. Maybe that’s Ele and Affli for you as a healer, but it’s something else for others. If we nerfed stuff based on that instead of based around whether or not it’s actually unbalanced, everything would be nerfed.

Nah, its because they either have no counter play or just really frustrating ways to counter them. Other classes have high pressure and arent as annoying to deal with

My point still stands. YOU might not have any way to counter them. I guarantee you that how you feel about Ele and Affli, they feel the same about BM hunters.

And Warriors feel that way about Mages.

And Mages feel that way about Feral.

And Rogues feel that way about Ret.

And DKs feel that way about Warriors.

At the end of the day, PvP in WoW is rock, paper, scissors to some degree. Maybe Ele and Affli is your kryptonite. But the world doesn’t revolve around you, so if we had to nerf Affli and Ele because YOU dislike them, then we’d have to nerf everything else anyone else dislike too
