Apart from the part that it can’t be shut down obviously (that one would be too easy).
I played on nostalrius server and i will tell you that it was far better than this i play here.U can say 1000 reasons that this here is better but in nostalrius i never experience camp pvp and toxic people.Maybe cause most people were playing in retail so we were more peaceful i dont know just saying…

Well nostalrius was better … streamers werent sell outs … Asmongold wasnt on the server which made it even better

Pservers were better because people was playing for fun. But it seems playing classic is a job or like a job for a lot of people.

Pservers were a labor of love for vanilla.
Classic is the logical conclusion of Blizzard wanting people to subscribe again.

The numbers are much bigger obviously. Apart from that, nothing. PVE is easier, the community is worse, the lag is worse, P2 was terribly implemented, phasing sucked.
AND we have to pay for it, a stock 1.12 game with no experience from the team.
Kinda sad really, but that was to be expected
All the other pservers were garbage because of the corruption obviously (safe for felmyst…but we know how that endend). But still, those who played on nost knew how good it was overall, and that’s also when the vanilla revival thing really became big.

Everything is worse here. Unsubbed recently tbh. Alliance shazzrah is unplayable and not worth my time nor money. Im not playing blizzards classic.

Nostalrius was better. You could play both factions on the same server, so faction imbalance wasn’t an issue.
All has been already said, except maybe the magic extra-ball, being able to met and play with people from the whole world on a 24/7 basis.
It was really cool and OVH is a great provider.
Telia, on the other hand, is still a facepalm story.

Every realm has those and Nost had its own a few infact which were real annoying.
Nostalrius was better than Classic in many ways (real AV for example). All in all the Nost team did a much better job than Blizzard is doing ESPECIALLY in customer support, pretty weird as it was free.
One thing I liked was that it was an international realm. It was always raid night. At Lunch the asians raided. And in the middle of the night the Americans raided. It was always easy to find groups for everything 24/7. As horde Kargath was always crowded and had mages selling portals.
One thing that Classic is better at is spam control. I have not seen a single chat goldspam so far except the chat inv spam.

Nost had REAL AV, even tho they ran on 1.12 they had gone out of their way to recreate the original AV experience, not this nerfed ‘‘TBC’’ version of AV that Blizzard gave us.
They wanted to re-create the experience of vanilla, but they give us the nerfed version of AV that was never made with intentions of vanilla gameplay in mind, but for the upcomming TBC expansion. AV in Classic is the same as AV in retail, and it is an abomination compared to the older version.

Nothing like the retail version they have atm in Epic BGs . Its not even like retails Event KR atm either.
Its is very close to the map we had late vanilla but its a totally different mind set from the players and how they do things. There is only so much you can blame blizzard for sometimes you have to blame your fellow players.
If you dislike it so much and think its so cheap and easy to make a good realm then leave and do it but constantly nagging blizzard and blaming them isnt going to help.
BLIZZARD IF U READ THIS IT ISN’T TOO LATE TO HIRE THE NOSTALRIUS TEAM TO RUN CLASSIC FOR YOU !
Hazzikostas you yourself were hired because of your noteworthy community contributions and because of your obvious passion and knowledge of the game. PASS IT ON DUDE! Hire these people !!! They are passionate about Classic and have way more experience running it than you do.
