So they say warlocks are evil

… just because they worship demons.

But have you seen hunters?

  • enslave… i mean Tame a boar
  • order the boar to kill all of its friends and family
  • flay the skin of all of its friends and family in front of its eyes
  • cook the flesh of all of its friends and family
  • feed him all of the cooked flesh. The more family it eats, the more it starts to love you

Warlock are basically mages that went full EMO.

That Boar is just better than all those other scrubs. Feed him the flesh of his fallen brothers and sisters. Let their sprits join him, so he too can become a powerful soldier of the Horde.

Worship? Bhah, I enslave demons therefore I am on good side. Best thing about using demon labour is that if they complain, I can send them back to twisting nether and no one has to clean corpse-chute later.

Experiments on my basement are all for greater good! When sylvanas has burned all trees, you will be glad to have my guide of creating furniture from bones.

Why are we limiting this to specific classes? Half the quests in this game are “go and commit genocide” or “this thing is a mild inconvenience, cull them!”.
How can I be a nature loving druid if all I ever do is kill the animals I’m meant to protect! Gimme some of that cataclysm questing where you save the baby bears from forest fires by tossing then onto a trampoline!

Warlocks don’t worship demons, they yank them from the Twisting Nether and enslave them against their will.

And don’t forget, we send them in to die for us while we make our emergency escape.

So true. This is why I can’t play Alliance. You do the same genocide quests but you have to pretend to be a good guy.

I don’t recall alliance ever claiming to be good. Just native (On eastern kingdom), asking to kill invaders.

Only invidiuals like on horde side.

Alliance players claim to be good, but only weirdos who dance in goldshire.

Good and bad are not universal values and highly susceptible to interpretation.

I always see Warlocks as the ‘mad scientists’ who just want to have that kind of power at their fingertips and justify their curiosity with in some shady ethical minefield.

Warlock: “Look! I summoned a Fel Guard!”
Wife: “OMG it’s chopping up the dog!”
Warlock: “Behold! Isn’t this a fascinating specimen?!”
Wife: “IT’S GOING AFTER THE KIDS!”
Warlock: “Oh, I know, let’s summon an Infernal to protect them.”
Wife: “NO! We just had the roof thatched.”
Warlock: “I’ll summon some Mo’arg to do that again, no worries!”

They’re mad, not evil.
