They lost gallywix as sponsor. There was other drama where they disbanded, came back with new name and finally returned to old name.
That stuff might have affected them, who knows.

They lost their entire raid team, apart from Sco, afaik, and had to rebuild. They therefore do not expect to challenge for, world first until later in the expansion.

And nothing to do with Gallywix apart from 1 player and Gallywix did not sponser them Red Bull did .

Method’s core raid team is mostly playing in the guild ECHO right now.
They became world second.
They might have even made it to world first, had there been a global release instead of one day advantage for NA.
OK, so they moved to Echo for some reason… is it about that Josh guy or what?

No, but at least that person got world first solo mythic raid guild kill.
No, but it wasn’t the first time a member or other affiliated with Method did sexual harrasment, Josh’s case just got big but Sasha the co-CEO or whatever has also been reported as sexually harrasing people while Sco turned the blind eye.
Method has a history and people need to remember that they’re still bad in that regard.

Allegations doesnt mean ure guilty… all these so called good / close friends left Method/Sco as soon there was a sign of trouble instead of backing their friend up… without him they wouldnt be anything he literally created this WF race what it is today
