They obviously need a nerf, especially elemental which provides insane burst in PvP at range that no other class can do… While wearing mail, having grounding totems, earthbing, GW, strong 1.5s cast heal… it’s insane.

All mongoloids were playing hunter 2 months ago, boomkin 1 month ago, sp 1 weeks ago and shaman now.

Dont worry. They are buffing shamans next reset, but thats just setting them up to being smacked much harder with the nerf bat. Anyone who can say with a straight face that starsurge was OP but shamans are not are either dishonest or intellectually disadvantaged.

especially while starsurge was only strong thanks to the eclipse crit bug and spellpower bug.
now that it’s fixed starsurge hit for avg 250damage , probably the worst performing damage rune of the game 
even moonfire deal 2x more damage than starsurge
Yeah they nerfed paladin & buffed shaman, as alliance the winrate is suffering. Feel worse than moonkin sp meta since it’s one sided.
Atleast buff paladin or nerf sham. No i’m not playing paladin I just suffer as alliance from it. (Elemental one shoting is like warlock they have to cast it and be close, there are much counterplay to it, the issue is the damages and tankness from enh that is breaking the game rn).

It’s really noticeable in the lvl 30-39 bracket. Most enemy horde teams have 3 to 5 shamans, and we start the game with 6 Alliance, we can’t even fill up a WSG.

Starsurge performs better than Spellfrost bolt, and it still crits for 650, for no mana cost, on a 6 sec cd, with an RNG stun. Stop overexagerating, its a really good rune
