I say nerf away, most of the whiners in this thread would still faceplant against a Shaman as they can’t handle classes that use more than 3 abilities.
What’s funny is they’re still pretty damn good, especially against melees. The only difference now is they have to run away while pressing their two spells.
I play one, I know. The class actually plays like a druid now. 800 non crit super charged Starfires while my warlock with a buffed by Incinerate Chaos Bolt non-crit hits ~750.
And if anything catches a warlock with Chaos Bolt… we’ll it’s bye bye.
Nerf me all you want. I’ll slap in pvp and people will cry. Shaman is my class regardless, some YouTube Andy put enhance as F tier, I’ll still main it.

A real pleasant human being you are. My class did get gutted. Starsurge was OP because of 2 bugs. They first nerfed it, THEN fixed the bugs, resulting in a gutted spec. The proof is in the fact that since then boomkins have been buffed three times.
But I don’t know why you are so angry. Did I hit a nerve? Do you feel as intellectually inferior as you present yourself on these forums? Maybe you should go out and touch some grass.

My meaning was that when druid was OP, FOUR DAYS into p2, it was such a serious thing that it had to be hotfixed immediately, which resulted in boomies having to endure weeks of playing a bottom tier spec.
Meanwhile shamans are blasting everyone, and are more overpowered than boomies ever was, yet nothing is done. In fact, they are even getting buffed next week.
Also it feels like half the horde are playing shaman.
I would argue that this situation is 100x more urgent than it was with boomkins, since we now have a situation where 1 faction specific class is massively overpowered, while the faction specific class for alliance is underpowered. This makes a significant difference in pvp.
Huh? Phase 1 Shamans had one viable and playable spec (tank) because of how good WoE rune is. Phase 2 only reason Shaman is good is WoE, but as dps in PvP.
What Shamans are now are what Ret was whole phase 1. Please stop whining

Have you opened your spellbook? You know you can kite an Enhance as druid to never even touch you? They dont have gap closers. Druid just got massive DoT buffs, Starfire crits for 2k+ oneshotting any player in game.
Not what I said. I said starsurge was OP because of 2 bugs (60% crit instead of 30%, and 100% spellpower from gear instead of 42%). They nerfed it, THEN fixed those bugs.

Druids got compensated back to back right after, like what are you even crying about? Talking about reading comprehension when you havent touched on anything else I replied to you. Maybe time to check in at the vet about your mentally challenged dog IQ

This. What people don’t realize, is that even if shamans somehow get nerfed, they’ll get compensated in some other way since the main goal for blizzard is PvE balance. Lets say Lava burst gets a nerf, then elemental overload might get another buff. Or Lava Lash getting a nerf, well then, time to make Maelstrom weapon also increase the damage of your next spell. From what I’m seeing, shamans are in a balanced position in PvE, so I’m not expecting to see any nerfs any time soon to their output

Not to mention that fact that even if they do get nerfed the people on here relentlessly crying will still get floored by shamans because nerfing them won’t improve their own non-existent skills. The only way these people would stand a chance is if they made shaman into a target dummy, and even then the outcome is uncertain for them.
