And permanent this time. Personally I’m glad they brought it back as a permanent feature because this removes the pressure from it being a timed event. Especially with it being planned only one week every 3 or 4 months.
Any expectations that blizz will fine- tune some of the encounters? The tanking one was reported as a bit hard and I personally think Feltotem has way too much hp.
They are all completable, if people want a challenge, they have it.
If they adjust them further, it will just trivialize it.
True but a lot of people made it a bit easier by running chromie time with a lvl 60 and getting op year with 3 sockets. Also consumables and certain trinkets made some encounters like 50% easier.
They need to nerf the hell out of the healer challenge to bring it back in line what it was in Legion, the allies weren’t made of paper back in Legion. Other than that idc.
It was doable, but you needed a bit of gear. It was the first challenge I did on my holy pala a few months ago, and that was pre nerf (they changed the mages and soldiers iirc). He had SoO mythic socket gear and some trinkets.

I should have said holy priest challenge.
When doing the challenge on my druid, the mobs weren’t shredding the allies like they were made out of paper. So, holy priest challenge specifically.
All they need to do is balance it gear wise .
Its a challenge, let it be challenging , but if whole challenge is in runing and buying old content gear then something is off
It’s not like it was in Legion, it should be brought in line to what it was like in Legion. If they don’t want to do that, they should just remove it from the game.
I agree. To me the tuning of the challenges with SoO gear + gems was perfect. Some still required 20+ attempts but they didn’t feel impossible. Try some of em with just SL gear and it’s a very bad experience, especially for the support roles i.e. tanking and healing.
doesnt really effect me at all… but completionists who lacked the skill to do it all last time around should be happy about it.

Well i did all the 7 challenges for the book last time… never even specced holy or prot for anything before so i had to bind stuff, make macros for healing and figure out what to use and when.
So all i gotta do now is resolve the same stuff on whatever classes are left.
As such, i’m glad there’s no time limit, no real pressure to knock them all out in a week, really good change!

I could not care less. I’m not someone who wanted it back. It was never going to be possible to replicate how our classes worked, we don’t have artifacts weapons any more, talents are different etc etc. Nothing is like it was.
However there are people that wanted them back. So they have them and I hope they enjoy them. It’s good they’ve changed it so people don’t have to wait for TW any more. Those farming the old foods and other consumables will also be happy they can sell their goods all year round 
I’m just going to ignore them for now.

Sorry… I remember it being a thing in legion. But what do you get out of the mage tower?
I’m happy it’s permanent now. It gives me plenty of time to do it at my own leisure.
There is zero reason to do it until they add the Weapon skins back as rewards. If they don’t, too bad, I’ll never step into it in this lifetime, for some low grade recolours of a tier set that you can just go into ToS and one shot the bosses and get it in 15-20 minutes. Just like that.

Can’t say it was very enjoyable but I have the armors I want so not much to gain from it anymore. I’d be interested if they added some more skins to the artifact transmog or something. But good luck folks!
