Sad that some people still dont know what is p2w…
You know that buying WoW Token by using real money and turning it into gold for Boost runs is Pay To Win or you can use that gold to buy gear directly from AH.
I find it more sad that people defend current game design.
Like I said earlier Im pondering it as an option but thing is removing PvP vendors was simply just incredible stupid move to do. I dont believe they removed them because PvE folkds whined about it. They just removed because PvP is no longer supported. There is no other way they would do such stupid thing. And doing PvE to get gear for PvP is simply wrong. I wont do it. I take what comes from PvP chests and that Conquest bar, but I sure as hell wont be happy. Hopefully Shadowlands is less f"ckheaded against PvPers. PvErs got plenty of content already anyway.

“win” in wow has already shifted a long time ago to warcraftlogs, raiderIO and check-pvp.
Some ingame achievement are pretty much irrelevant. people take above sites to measure you.
also “boosts” were already a thing pretty much since xrealm and not because of wow token.
Well Im not ever going to use external websites to play this game. I probably just chill and take those PvP boxes and fill Conq cap. Its not like Im Rank 1 material since my journey started 3 days ago anyway. ;D
But seriously the fact that game has masqueraded Pay-To-Win option is kinda corrupted. If its currency earned in-game that you pay for boost I would have no problem buying pieces from AH from time to time, or get carried in raids.
Or perhaps return solo-crafting? There are people that just arent into PvE. Its just about preference and I rather have the fun option in this game than do things I dislike. I dont want this game feel like real live job.
So hopefully PvP vendors or similar PvP loot box system makes return. Because opening PvP loot box right now after winning in PVP and getting fishes feels like F U from Blizzards side…

If you go down that route, WoW has always been pay to win. There have always been boosts. It has always been possible to buy gold for real money. Now instead of you buying it from fishy chinese gold farmers, you buy it from Blizzard instead, which I think is better, since gold farmers tend to be bad for the game in more ways than just selling gold.

Pay-To-Win games lock the best items or just items in general behind a paywall, as in ‘‘You have to buy this to be competetive and theres no way to get it in game’’, Pay to play just gives you a shortcut to get there

Then those people comes to my mind who do raids but don’t have enough time, buying a token for consumables so they can do their raid in their limited free time. And i don’t think it is p2w either. Maybe idk how you can win in this game tbh.

That’s like saying you can’t win in Clash of Clans because you can always keep building your village and paying more to build it more, and therefore it’s not P2W and therefore it’s OK.

Rather save the 200€ for an edumucation.
yeah you could buy tokens get boosted to high item level, but you would still be realy bad in any raid or dungeon if you do not know how to play, so pay to win is moot and doesnt realy do anyone any good at all.
