but you are not a top logger.
you are an average andy who raid with average andy players all whom probably haven’t set foot in heat 3 of MC yet.
you have delusions of grandeur just like most other gamers have, when it comes to their own ability and skill level.
the standard isn’t to beat the game the way the top loggers do, that is reserved for the elite class of wow players - those who live and breathe the game, with toxic loot rules, loot feeding policies and mandatory demands for each and every consumable and world buff in the game - and by that i mean, you better god damn sit out those 8 hours to get your DMF buff and if you lose it you’re getting benched and if you get benched you get lootbanned for a week.
the type of player who would sell their own mother to the devil for a free crusader enchant and not think twice.
the type of player who will look at your 95 parse and unironically call you a noob because its not 99 or 100.
the type of player who will have you sit in queue to drop your rend/ony head buff because we need it for our raid, and if you pop it without permission you are getting gkicked without a second thought.
are you one of those players?
no, you’re not.
if you were, it would be the first thing you’d be prostrating around whenever you engage in any arguments with people around here, because that’s how players like that simply are.
their credibility (and that of other people) are based solely on their ability to consistently pull 99+ parses - nothing more, nothing less.
you could tell a player like this that the sky is blue, and if you don’t have the 99 parse to back it up, he would say you are wrong.
alright?
we clear?
recruit more dpsers and stop whining.
onyxia is easy, but if your gear doesn’t meet the dps check, you’re not going to be doing what the top loggers do.
oh and btw. there are PLENTY of qualified candidates around who have the ability to be a top logger but simply choose not to because its not a fun environment to be in.
some of us have been there and done that and decided its not worth the time or the effort this time around - especially on a SEasOnAL ReALm where nothing is balanced and your spec/class could receive class breaking gutting nerfs any day of the week, depending on what the devs think.
it takes the idea that wow is a second job and puts it on steroids.
