[SoD] Restricted from trading, AH, mail

already one my 2nd

But I paid upfront for a game with full functionality.
Now they are placing a paywall in front of the content for which I subscribed.
My guess is that the ToS allows for this, however from a customer services perspective I think that the people effected pre-policy should be either grandfathered in or have the lost time credited to their account

Spent 90 euros for the epic version and wanted to play some SOD before the expansion… and this is what I get… This must be stated when you buy the game so that people are aware of what they’re buying, and that some services are not available due to policy. It’s like buying a car, but when you receive it you get it with 3 wheels and you’ll have to wait a month until you receive the fourth wheel… Only one winning here is Blizzard.

same here, played for a month and everything was fine so i bought a year. a week later the same thing, cant trade, cant send mail, basically cant play the game

They have no idea what they are doing, R.I.P. WoW. It is a shame that this is happening, since I am doing nothing wrong here. I want my money back.

let’s organize a riot in Ogrimar and Stormwind, all you need to do is go into the game tonight and write in all available chats, “Blizzard use your brains”

I’ve already purchased a monthly sub, Asking me for even more money to access the most essential feature in any MMO is crazy. At least warn us before purchasing or something, I’ve never heard of such bs until 2days ago.

It’s been 4 days since people started having massive problems with the auction/mail/trading, of course it’s the weekend, everything is going on there, but then Monday came, in response there was silence, Blizzard apparently decided to choose the tactic of getting water in their mouths, since a lot of hate poured into them side. Will this not reputable company give an official statement on what is happening? People have been scratching their heads for 4 days, an Indian moderator is responsible for you on the forum, I think people who bought your product have every right to an answer, especially since when buying a game, there is no message that they will receive a trial version of the game.

i wouldn’t grind that much if it would be from the start. It was okay when i purchased and played 2 weeks normal. Then they decide to do that. So dissappointing. I don’t think i will renew.

This is my first month playing. I would have not purchased the subscription if I knew that 2 weeks in all new characters will have their AH, Trade, and Mailing restricted.
I feel no reason to re-subscribe unless I receive credit for time lost.

This is something Blizz should have made clear up front.

EDIT: I logged on and received a behavior warning too? For what? Are you trying to have a pretext for their actions

EDIT 2: I just recieved a 2nd behavior warning - for farming out the janglado mine? Are these player reports? I haven’t talked to anyone… Someone was mad that I wasn’t helping. Sorry bud, too busy farming minor healing pots since i can’t buy them on AH…

So frustrating

I didn’t expect to be forced to go to the forum and create a thread, but my patience just ran out after 4 days of being ignored and support being answered by bots

I thought after moving to Microsoft something would change for the better, but now I think it won’t get better

I hope they remove the restriction for you. I have no idea what they were thinking implementing it and announcing it in this way, they have nothing to gain from it, they should have at least announced it in good time so they can get community feedback before implementing a thing such as this, they failed miserably with everything.

Microsoft probably bought activision for candy crush. I doubt they care much about wow, the best thing they can do is fix the trash systems kotick implemented rewarding dev teams who make them money and not the teams who need the resources

I understand that they don’t have the courage to declare what they wanted to do, I think that they wanted to see what the reaction would be, and then decide how to play it out
