I was getting the “restricted” message for 2 days. I tried everything that had been suggested, (deleting cache, wtf, logging out), but to no avail. I gave it one more try, going into the cache and wtf deleting individual files, and logging out of the battle.net client completely for 15 minutes. I don’t know exactly what worked, but it did and as soon as I logged back in I had full access to AH again. If you’re going through the same frustrations I was, don’t give up, I wish I knew exactly which step worked but I did manage to resolve it myself.

Writing a ticked and stay logged out for more than 12 hrs solved my problem

pleaase do it. Even if they changed all of the sudden that new accounts have to be 30 days old before using auction house… we bought it without this information, and it was working for us fine before. IT IS STILL not right.

So after the Incusions event i had my actions restricted regarding anything i do in AH (buying and selling), trading with characters and sending mail.

I waited for more than 12h offline but no luck.

Talk about a buzz killer, I grinded the weekend to level up. Got my char to 50, and now I can’t use the AH to buy consumables for raid. WTF? What is even the point of playing now? What am I paying for? To have a botched account? This is so dumb on so many levels. If blizz doesn’t want me to play the game, then I might as well take my money elsewhere.

You can however receive normal trades, so I guess you could somehow make another person give you gold - that MUST be what Blizzard wants you to do since that is the ONLY thing you can do in regards to trading.
You can not give ANYTHING back, not items not gold, NOTHING. You can ONLY receive items and gold for “free”.
Tell me that won’t get you caught in some insane flag for RMT…

This is beyond stupid and the fact they double down and say it is intended is baffling. My brand new char on a brand new account was able to do everything they say it shouldn’t since 2017 and SUDDENLY since 3 days ago, in my case, I cannot trade in anyway but receiving free stuff.
