Ah yeah I keep hearing about this ‘testing ground’ I’m paying a monthly sub for where apparently my enjoyment of the game is secondary.
It’s because they refuse to deal with bots properly. I’ve told them how they can deal with it, but they won’t.
And what would that be?

They should lower it to 2 week max.
I can see how this would be effective discouraging botting and RMT but this just doubles down even harder on new players.
Did you find a solution regarding that issue??
I still have this action is currently restricted on mail, AH, Trades etc…
All bags are full and can’t even send mails to alt characters to free some space lol …

Being able to trade, mail and auction with other players in an MMORPG would be a great start. This is literally the only MMO on the planet that thinks restricting trade on paying customers is a good idea.
It also still exists in a limited form in osrs.
Is OSRS 15 euro sub to play?

I see main point of this change is that bots will pay 2* sub instead of 1* so it becomes less profitable. If you lower it to 2 weeks, for bots nothing change, they just wait 2 weeks (without starting bots so blizz not detect them before) and then start playing. Average bot lifetime is less then 2 weeks so in that case they will be bann in the end of 1st month and won’t pay 2nd sub and nothing change
I already went into detail in another thread last week, I’m not typing it all out again. Basically a visible police presence in the zones botters frequent, carrying out fitting punishments upon them. I do it myself sometimes by kiting things.
Multi billion dollar company can’t afford GMs but french people in their basement can do it for free on mega servers. Please understand. Not enough people talk about this. Blizzard are a shlt company.

Day 3 or 4 of not being able to use mailbox, ah, trade despite not having a single SoD char.
New SoD player here.
Very frustrating to PAY, play for 2 weeks and have my account restricted this past week.
As they decided on this policy after I paid for my sub, I sincerely hope they credit me some game time.

Instead of hiring actual GM’s, I love how Blizzard is always trying to figure out ways around the bot problem even if it means making the player experience worse. People being fine with it is mind boggling

true i mean f2P mmo does that to prevent botting but doing the same in a paid sub mmorpg is beyond pathetic.

No, as long as there is a customer there will also be bots/goldsellers.

2 time blizzard(bot) answer my ticket for same issus with this.
