No it’s not. It’s all a mitigation strategy and they have 0 mitigation now and would rather invest their time into ruining the new player experience. Watch P3 have the lowest player count in two weeks.

i’ve never seen a mmorpg with 0 bots tho , as for the new players experience i agree ofc.
as for P3 idk it feel as bad as P2 to me.

Are there people here who also paid for 2 months and mail/ah does not work? Yesterday I paid for 2 old accounts, they are 3 months old but I get an error, I waited 12 hours offline

I have had my sub for 2 months now but after the new restictions i cant trade i have tried to log out for 12 hours, and uninstalling and clearing my cache but nothing sems to work. it is kinda anoying not being able to play the game
have the same Issue. opened several Tickets. it seems like you have to play 30 days ingame playtime. its a joke… i am lvl 50 have full storage and inventory and cant do anything. i pay the same amount for the game but i cant do the same things. as a working person its impossible to reach these 30 DAYS ingame time fast. I will have to wait for months to be able to trade again. I doubt this is the right step and i doubt this is even legal…

Indeed, you’ll always get compromised or bought accounts used by bots.
The problem I feel is that lack of visible presence being done about them causes people to get confident and try botting out when they otherwise wouldn’t have.
Other players see them getting away with it so then you get the, “can’t beat em, join em” mentality as everyone is tired of having bots stealing their resources in the game world and fed up with being skint due to the economy being shot to hell.
Then the spiral goes on and on.
I Havent been able to use auction house, send mail or trade with any of my characters for 4-5 days now it worked fine when the phase 3 launched. I have read that they made changes so new accounts cannot use these features but i have been a sub for 2-3 months now so why am i getting hit with this issues still. Could someone help me out here. The only help i got from customer support was to be logged out for 12 hours and i did that and did not work. Getting really frustrated here since im basically stuck and cant get any crafting materials from AH etc.

there is already 3 topics about this subject, and blizzard is ignoring all of us that it happend to. i cant join my sunken raids with guild cus i cant buy consumables, i cant lvl my proffesions, i cant sell over 40+ boes / runecloth stacks i got through dungeon and lvling. its sad that blizzard dont care at all
Last official answer 5 hours ago that they were actively looking into it.

I can honestly say that if I had been a newly returning player and get this restrictions I probably wouldn’t keep playing. I get it is due to gold sellers, but this seems a bit over the top.

I agree 100%. This is using the lowest common denominator - there is nothing worse imo. Punishing the many for sins of the few. Not well thought out. And no - I’m not affected by this. I would be irate if I was.
