“It seems you’re encountering WoW restrictions related to trading, mailing gold, or using the auction house on a character created as self-found or on a Seasonal realm. Your account has not met the requirement of purchasing and consuming at least 30 days of game time since 2017.”
This was their response after I mentioned several times that I’m on Era. I hecking love this customer support. beep boop
My battle.net account has been in use since 2002 when I played diablo2. I have played multiple games since and before I tried wow I played d2res recently. I have had an active account on battle.net for 20+ years and they restrict it? How big of a mongoloid do you have to be to realize that is not the way to go. If the gamemaster is correct that is.
I guess they dont want my monies.
This is so frustrating! I have been able to use trade, AH, and mail for 2 weeks (came back to WoW EU after a couple of months on US, and after about 10 years offline), then I go away for a weekend and I get this?
I have the exact same issues and game time as my little sister, and she got an answer saying she broke the code of conduct, and no reasoning. A friend that have been playing for over 10 years have the same issues as well, and Blizzard tells her she needs to have 30 days of game time? Really!?
Give us a real answer and take responsebility, to not use copy-paste answers.
I have since then received 4 responses from a bot, and not a real rep. I have for sure the gametime needed, i have logged out of my battlenet account for atleast 12 hours 3 times.
STILL problem is not fixed… Blizz reps, you should REACT now!
its sad its been 4 days and we still cant use AH / trade / lvl proffesions / buy consumables for raids. and nothing is happening. we used AH fine til u did some hotfix that bugged 100 of us
It seems you’re encountering WoW restrictions related to trading, mailing gold, or using the auction house on a character created as self-found or on a Seasonal realm. Your account has not met the requirement of purchasing and consuming at least 30 days of game time since 2017.
Here’s what you need to know:
• Self-Found Characters: You can turn off this limitation in-game if your character is self-found.
• Account Game Time Requirement: If your account has yet to consume at least 30 days of game time since 2017, you’ll need to wait until this criterion is met before accessing these features. This restriction includes a newly created account.
To resolve this issue:
For Self-Found Characters: Check in-game settings to see if you can disable this restriction directly.
Meeting Game Time Requirement: Ensure your account has consumed at least 30 days of game time since 2017. If not, you’ll need to wait until this condition is fulfilled to access trading, mailing gold, and using the auction house.
I really dont get it, every post states different things.
Im using old account. (played only diablo)
I paid for 3 months of sub.
I paid through official website.
Yet there are people stating that u just have to contact GMs/ wait 12 hours/ disable addons. But nothing helps.
If i have to wait 30 days to access one of the core game mechanics i prefer not to play at all.
(they dont want to give me refund, i appealed but they refused… thieves)
So, new players can’t buy something on AH for gold they earned, but can still recieve gold and items from “friends” on 3rd party website. (buy gold on 3rd party website, say seller to send items or consumes for X amount of gold instead). So with this fix blizz encourages new players to buy gold even more then before because they can’t buy anything for legit gold they earned in game.
Do you think this somehow interferes with bots? No. I’ll explain why: If you create a new account on a banned account, there will be no restrictions on the SoD server. For example Wow1 is banned. Wow2 is created and there are no restrictions on it because 30 days have already been paid for and played on Wow1. Anyone who is happy that the bots have gotten worse knows nothing. It only got worse with the new player.
So u r still happy?
Well played blizzard.
I’am a new player(ex new, just join SoD on fresh account) and cant normally play on this demo version, but BOT owners happy farming and laugh at everyone
It is not about battle.net account but wow game account. So ppl who have old unrestricted accounts who creates an alt account now will be restricted for 30 days as well.
Current news is that the account restrictions are for anyone that’s has played less then full 30 days on the account. If you’ve played longer then those days, try staying logged out for 12+ offline hours.
If the issue persists: They’re looking into it.
There may be an issue with players who started a subscription in February because it only had 28 days. The US devs are aware and checking if that can be fixed.
Edit: Additionally since the EU blue post, this restriction is also valid for the Classic Era and SOD realms.
This Era account has only used tokens, never subbed, and I’ve got a restriction. Does this mean I’m screwed for 40+ days until my token + the bought subscription has ran out?
I am sorry that you’re defending this because I am sure you had nothing to do with the implementation.
But for the love of all, just remove the restriction all together and find some other way to combat bots - or whatever it is you(Blizzard) think this is doing.
It is nothing but and abhorrent slap in the face of every new player because of how limited the game is. How can you sell a restricted product at FULL PRICE?
This is the biggest joke I have ever witnessed.
Roll it back, refund people either their money or their time and then hope that not too many people have lost whatever little faith they might have still held for you as a company.
My friends invited me to a pirate server. I told them that we need to feed the Blizzard and cleanse our karma. As a result, I play 1 without an auction. I’m a sucker
