[SoD] Restricted from trading, AH, mail

so what is the player called who asks for everything in guild? And what is the attitude towards him? All the same, I won’t take them without potions in raids, but they are bought at an auction, they don’t take them in gnome.

Well, you could try explaining to them that your account is new and limited by Blizzard so you can use the AH and will repay them when the 30 day restriction is removed.

Just a thought.

For levelling players who are new to the game that isn’t an option.
When you join a guild your just a number, most people search a guild for benefits of raiding when theyve got some gear and are 60 already.

no1 will help you as a new player asking everyday for items or gold.

I played 15 levels with the auction house, trading and mail , and now 27 levels without it. I must say it’s not fun, some quests can’t be done cause you should get an item in the AH or you cant buy any better gear to level better while questing.

You cant sell anything that drops, some blues that drop and are worth 100G in AH , you have no choice to sell to vendor for 1G

It’s just a shame: the treatment, the restriction, the communication… All a shame.

The max level in SoD is 50 at the moment, are you talking about Era? I see you are on Firemaw.

You have a bank and can put bags in it to give you more storage.

I’ve had this account since 2005 but I haven’t bought any 30 days since 2017, I have however bought other blizzard games since then. Yet i can’t use ah or trade, just recently I couldn’t give water to a person I was questing with because of the limitations. I can’t level my professions cause I can’t buy materials from ah, and I can’t sell stuff to earn money.

The gear I have is self-found crap, because we level twice as fast we also get half the loot, same is for professions.

Honestly what a pos restriction. I contacted support for a refund, just got the same automated response each time. :face_vomiting: full price for a trial.

Never seen a bigger Blizz shill than you, honestly. If you can’t see how bad this is for new player experience (and existing) you are out of your mind. Yeah, he can store the items he farmed in the bank, but what happens once he has run out of space?

I’m questioning if they posted in THE RIGHT SECTION and giving them a solution to what I quote from them.

I am going on what they say so keep your nose out of it and maybe look at some of the posts where I critisise Blizzard, but of course that takes effort and more than a few seconds, which is much longer than your attention span.

I dunno, maybe this?

You have a bank and can put bags in it to give you more storage.

2nd slot in the bank is 1 gold
3rd slot is 10 gold
etc.

This is insane amount of money at the beginning. And even if you will be able to save this much, you’ll probably use it for buying skills and recipes.

10+ slot bags are expensive too.

Don’t mind him. He’s been chasing the MVP tag for months now. He clearly lacks critical thinking

Dottie have been here since the start of classic and have been consistent, dont think Dottie is chasing anything just expressing their views in a honest manner.

The worst part is the customer support, it’s just a bunch of automated bots until you reopen the ticket enough times and even then they’re just “our hands are tied we can’t do anything”.

Anyone defending it, self-found is a mode on hardcore and we’re being forced to play with it on. A mode made to make the game a lot harder and more grindy.

I wanted to play SOD just for nostalgia and feel good reasons. I did play vanilla-wotlk.

So I kind of took this restriction as a challenge to be self found. But please know it sucks every time you need to vendor valuable items in lack of bag space, but I accepted it. And I know it will be extremely difficult for me to afford a mount at lvl 40.

But what really makes me sad right now is that I can´t even get the required ingredients for crafting my own leatherworking gear. I need elixir of lesser agility and defense and thats not something I just can go around asking strangers for.

@Hoponfresh: Dottie has no interest in the MVP tag.

@Cupìd: Actually, he has been about a lot longer than that, even. I am sure he will correct me, if needed, but I think he was already around when I started… 16 years and a few days ago.

Hey folks. Just passing by and noticing that Blizzard still hates new players and doesn’t listen to the opinion of the community

If I wanted it my text would be green as it was offered quite a while ago, but they place restrictions on how you post and I didn’t want that.

I’ve been on the forums since Oct 2005, I always try to be honest and post things how I see them, people often disagree, as long as they show proof I’m all for it. I don’t like people who just insult others when they disagree.

I think they have an AI system in place for the first reply, after that a real person answers it.

They think a blanket ban for a month will stop bots. How wrong they are, all it will do is annoy real and new players who will leave. If I’m honest I think it’s a lazy move that won’t work.

There’s another matter here. If they had written in large text that when you purchase a subscription, you buy a demo version of the game and will play the hardcore mod, there would be no problems. But you will find out about this a week later from a moderator on an US forum; the tickets are filled with bots. Ive never seen such a mess even in small indie companies, oh wait…
