When you first finish your placement games in solo shuffle this is how the system works
6 win = 150 mmr gain 80 to 90 cr
5 win = 100 mmr 60 70 cr
4 win= 50 mmr 40 to 55 cr
3 win= 0 mmr 0 cr
2 win= -50 mmr - 40 to -55 cr
1 win= = -100mmr -60 to -70 cr
0 win= -150mmr -80 to -90 cr
Now when you only win 4 games and you don’t gain cr it’s because in the previous games you probably got 1 win so you lost 100 mmr but next game when you win 4 that’s only a 50 mmr gain. THATS STILL 50 Mmr lower than youe previous matches or even worse if u win 0 then it’s 100 mmr lower
If you lose 6 games in 1 lobby then you need to win 6 again in the next lobby to end up where you were before.
TLDR: Get good scrubs instead of expecting free rating.
inb4 the posts complaining about their experiences varying from what the OP has explained, it’s a gross oversimplification, but it captures most of it in a nutshell. Unless you (the person reading this) really is interested in all the details of it, then what the OP wrote is enough for you.
It’s not a fun experience. I’d prefer it they’d just give flat rating for winning and losing and then lock you in to brackets you’ve achieved. Got to 1600? Now if you lose you can’t go down past it. At least that way you feel you can climb the ladder in solo shuffle and it’s not so inconsistent with the comps you play against or your team.
i really like your mogg, yea but they could also bring a different colored shuffle mount maybe and idk
i will play it now more often aswell cause you get all the nice stuff in it 2 besides Glad Mount and ngl this is insane this ssn the best ones since legion.
Lots of questions being asked if it’s evolving in the right direction though. I think it’s safe to bet on the solo queue design in WoW looking very different in 1-2 expansions from now though, and I just hope it won’t become even worse than now.
I get what I deserve? It’s a frustrating system with brain-dead zerg gameplay with team-mates that don’t know how to peel. People will give up, most of the people I know have. It’s just not fun or rewarding.
You’re so closed minded. There’s other systems in other games that lock you to a bracket of rating that are far more rewarding. Usually Blizzard steal these ideas to make their game better, it’s an idea I think might go well for solo shuffle and it’s inconsistency.
But yeah, the get gud argument on solo shuffle. If you think solo shuffle is anything other than a meme at this stage then you’re probably just bigging yourself up more than you should be.
