Solo Suffle killed the game

u completely right

they should balance it around shuffle and remove 3v3 and 2v2, theyre both crap anyway, I like to fight random classes not warrior priest or warrior druid 24/7

need lfg soloq with regular arena rules

h ttps://www.xunamate.com/#/activity/shuffle

and op is correct the shuffle format deflated normal arenas, they seem more deflated than sl s3-4 and no room for healthy brackets to play on any rating which why many are not bothering with it so pvp now is soloq and the design of the shuffle was bad to begin with

hence replace shuffle with lfg soloq with regular arena rules

thank u

or they make shuffle queeable whil lfging

If he’s above average he’d barely notice their absence. Since, as you said, he wouldn’t be facing them anyway?

how terrible that people play what they want and not what is convenient for you

yah, so now people who want to play that bracket because they enjoy it can play it. and those who dont, dont need to.

if people wont play a bracket without being forced into it or with all the incentives around, then it is probably not worth wasting time and effort on

class balance killed the game years ago*

and yes we are in the middle ground right now, 3s and 2s /ratedbg is dead bcz soloq, but soloq has countless problems, starting with mmr system that im certain not even blizz knows how it works at this point.

so either focus on fixing soloq and when its fixed, add gladiator to it and call it the main bracket bcz others are just dead OR somehow revive 3s maybe make soloq only available in certain days or weeks idk. but rn every bracket is horrible in their own way

As it is I am not enjoying RSS. First and foremost I was expecting this to be a 2v2, not a 3v3 because in my mind this was going to be a mode for the casual playerbase. There is absolutely no solution to healers’ unwilingless to play RSS. Casual healers struggle even in a 2v2, healing against 1 DPS, in this meta, let alone 2 DPS. They can’t fix this by slowing down the meta then you’ll spend 30 mins in 6 games, 20 mins in Q and in total almost 1 hour for just 1 RSS round. To me that is totally the opposit of what I expected from RSS; play a few games, take a break, chill, come back, play a few more, call it a day.

And due to this (healers’ unwillingness to play RSS) I still have, as mentinoed before, 20 to 30 min Qs, which is just about equal to the time i spent in LFG anyway.

In the end, I am just not seeing the benefit of RSS.

I also don’t understand the “X spec is better in 2v2”. Well Y spec is better in 3v3? What about that? Thats literally why we have the shuffle component. It juggles everyone around so its balanced.

I don’t know. Today my sub ended and I am not going to renew it. My experience so far is not different than SL’s LFG and I personally blame;

  1. The RSS being 3v3,
  2. The meta,
  3. Frequent but bad quality balance.

Numbers represent weighted importance.

were indeed on situation with no good options

everything is bad, and its also like 3-4th meh expansion pvp wise a row now O.o

and game been released months ago but full of bugs still and some weird spaghetti code that got all addon creators lost and now theyre causing cpu spikes and game freezes if u trying use something which been norm for past idk forever?

the most funny about ui design pvp wise ive read was some guy on reddit comment that imagine wow pvpers relying on some hobbyist coder who makes code from his bedroom when ever and everyone rely on his addon :joy:

and meanwhile its like million dullar company that cant make dr show or something like bigdebuffs replicated of their own, or omnibar

pvp wise u would want atleast these and theyre all causing lua and game freeze to some content now

Go figures, you have no clue of what he’s talking about, you are just busy feeling sorry for yourself.

People at lower ratings still affect the whole ladder. If the participant numbers are low enough the highest rated players could end up floating way below their usual ratings, which means that the people around 2.4k will also be way below their usual ratings. This translates into it becoming much harder to reach 2.4k and farm enough wins for the mount.

There’s a reason why it’s always easier to push ratings in late seasons than early on.

Maybe ur right, I hardly have any xp after all, on a single class/spec.
What I thought he was talking about was the lack of low experience players artificially fluffing experienced players’ rating. Is that not the case?
