Should be doable to an extent, but it really depends on the participation rate. Depending on balance you can end up with either no healers, or waiting for 1 hour to start.
It should be tapping to both the pool of RBGers and normal BGers
I can dig any combination, as long as ilvl, current mmr are taken to considaration. At least it will not be a manual work for 30mins just to play 1 maybe bad game.
I can dig loosing/wining a 5-10min queue game, if it is a automatic, matchmaking queue, NOT manually choore, like we do now with LFG.
Yes, but some people wonât be happy with losing rating because of bad luck getting a good composition, so theyâll keep making premades. And then the solo queue would either be separate, in which case itâll have quite lower pool of players, or solo players would be matched against a premade, which would kind of kill it quite fast.

The option still exist for them in OP post, They can choose between Soloqueue or Premade group directly.
No since it will allow player to play like random BG, and premade to push if they are in group and vocal etc.
And as i said maybe the habit of being in vocal happen more often than before, so in ranked RBG being on soloqueue can be in the future a habit to be on vocal
Also the number of time i played random battlegrounds , itâs quite often in Random Battlegrounds, without being on voice i was able to beat Premade Group playing in BG,
Being premade does not garantee a garantee win RBG, it just help on your plans.
if 2K4 alts people met up in soloqueue and 2K1 premade group play in the same RBG, thereâs possibility that the difficulty is balance.
So what stops the system to match me with a premade right now ?
I look 30mins in the LFG, searching for 3 classes, then actually choose whoever applies after 30min, it is just as random as a soloqueue, just that I donât have to be the one that wastes his time to make the party.
Maybe, but imo itâs more likely that it will just turn into non rated queue, especially in lowest rating bracket.
They should add solo q rbgs without matching randoms vs premades
And random bgs should have scaling on them , so playing alts to get gear wont be this painful and conquest gain from bgs can be a bit faster too

matching randmon versus premades is not a issue at all.
because actually thereâs 3 types of RBG group in RBG today :
- Yolo RBG : merely 0 communication and play like a random battlegrounds.
- Premade group LFG : You are on voice with PUGS and try to work like a team
- Actual RBG Team : They already know their strat, they got huge exp etc.
That itâs yolo RBG or Premade group LFG the only difference is voice in team and class comp choosen.
And today everyone is on voice nowaday in RBG, due to in game voice tchat. So that part is gone away.
And also you know that Premade is not a issue if you have done many Random Battlegrounds, many time you can beat Premade without you know they got premade in front. People only use the Premade excuse when they are losing and not admiting they havenât done something better than ennemy team.
Always been so much push back on this stuff itâs funny, going back to 2017 a lot of people were making vids on it. Including Tosan.

i have once been in a RBG i invited like 20 blance druids on ilv 226 in to a raid ran around 1 shooting Horde 
every druid just spammed convoke and starfall
The problem with rated PVP is that everybody is asking for R1/Glad/HotH/2.4k+, etc.
New players canât find anyone to play with. And thatâs because itâs a 16 years old game.

I hope they will implement a solo ranked queue.
- It has to be completely solo. No duo queue etc
- it should favour a balanced comp. Meaning same amount of healers same amount of ranged melee etc. I would even be fine if there would be pure 10v10 only dps games as long as the comp is the same
- you cannot queue if you dont have full pvp gear from random bgs. You would also need to enchant your gear before you can queue.
- people that get reported for rage quit, afk and toxic behaviour should get banned from queueing after a GM would verify if the reports are reasonable
Dont come here and say it cant be done cause star wars the old republic did it. It may have its flaws but I dont spend 1 hour forming a grip for it to fall apart after a loss.
People that dont want to be queued with randoms are not forced to play it cause they can still play the pre made arena and ranked bg queue we have right now with your buddyâs that you always play with.
Pvp participation would be higher as it is right now.

that issue most happen with some gladiator exp that want to be gladiator again to 100% win.
It happen to every level, itâs not just when you reach X rank that you become elitist.
Even at low cr, people with 0 experience is declining people who play outlaw rogue even if heâs 2K1.
People asking for X ranking or for X spec because tier list are the same people.
Whatever their exp.
So youâre basically admitting the hardest thing about rated BG is finding a group.

My point was mostly that if rated bg had a solo queue it would basically become random bg, except if it has some sort of requirements, Iâm not agaisnt solo queue at all, I dont do rated because I just cant bother with trying to get a partner for arenas or a group for rated bgs, I just think if rated solo queue had no requirement it would literally become random bgs and random bgs would be deserted
