I get strong feeling that anti-cross realm supporters are much like anti-abortionist.
They are happy to stand for idea but they dont care that smallers servers are slowly dying. Same as anti-abortionist, they are happy to stand for idea but as soon as the child is born it’s mothers problem for having it, should have thought before!

And i have the strong feeling that all of the “pro crossrealm/transmog…” are bored retail players.
What about doing real merge instead ?

Without me knowing the best solution, I hope Blizzard fix the server issues, cross-realm or merge, whatever it takes to give everyone a fair shot playing their game.

In a perfect world you’re right, but lots of realms struggling big time at the moment. Either server merges needs to happen and only have 3-4 High pop pvp servers etc or cross realm LFD. I imagine Blizz will review as wotlk comes out and see what the populations are like but one thing is for sure is we cannot continue like this post wotlk.

They should make Cross realm only viable for pvp /arenas/bgs only.
Only that due to implementation of retail pvp system.
Obviously, pvp has never been this low, so this would definitely bring system up, plus keep the system with teh current points ratio for gearing up.

I 100% support some form of server merge, in addition to one or two new fresh servers for Wrath
Agree 100%. Also make people form Battleground raids via LookingForRaid channel you have to manually join and then run to the Battleground entrance. You need to have 1/3 of the raid there to summon the rest. Let us not diminish the social experience of PvPers. If they don’t like it, they can go to retail where antisocial PvP happens for their instant gratification.
Oh, also you can only have one match per arena type per day. After that you can only skirmish for honor rewards.

Why wasn’t I suprised that you have 2 characters - 1 on Firemaw and 1 on Gehennas.
So you are telling other people that “crossrealm” is an “abommination that should not even be a PVP thing” and yet at the same time you play on the two biggest pvp realms, that are larger than alot of the cross-realm connections of retail. Is that kind of a troll?

Place your character on a server with a pop below 2k and we will see how your opinion magically changes.

No i play on 1 character. I moved it to Firemaw when horde killed off Gehennas.
Reason crossrealm is a bad thing is that it wont solve anything, just make the community more toxic. Smaller realms are still screwed.
Then why are you playing on crossrealm server if you think that?
Your argument doesn’t make any sense. Firemaw is crossrealm server itself.
It’s actually even worse than crossrealm servers. You can just change servers by joining another group and your auction house is connected to all other servers.
Idk that’s some next level classic player brain. “X is bad because retail”, meanwhile playing on the server that offers retail experience.

Well yeah, opinions of anyone on Firemaw about cross-realm play should be automatically disregarded. They already have it. Firemaw is effectively a 6 or more fully merged realms with all the benefits and only one drawback - queue.

Crossrealm crap was the beginning of the fall of wow.
It was the most stupid and the biggest fail in wow history.
We play classic, because we want to play with actual players NOT disappearing silhouettes.

Yes, but that needs them to control their freaking game and they dont give a f to do that.
They cant allow 30k pop servers, yet here we are. They cant allow all the botting, boosting and GDKP and yet, here we are.
They do not care single bits about this game. The reasoning about not including Dungeonfinder is to sell even more transfers… because if they would care about the game and the social aspect, payed char transfer would not be a thing.

Played retail WotLK, knows crossrealm is bad.
maybe if you played Wrath vanilla you would know why crossrealm is bad, or just played retail in general the last 14 years.
And no Firemaw is not retail experience.
