On the PTR instances that have been used for boosting have been changed making most boosts no longer possible (in mara for example, mobs teleport to you and are immune to slows after a while).
This was added in sunwell patch last time, is it intended to be in TBC from the start this time?
Yeah, they pretty much killed boosting, looks more like it’s wrong patch cuz not a single word said about it in blue posts. But still waiting for someone from dev team who will confirm anything
Please, please, please remove the boosting nerfs. I think it’s absolutely fair to restrict boosting within TBC content, I think it’s absolutely fair to restrict paid boosting, I think it’s absolutely fair to stomp out RMT wherever possible. But for people like me, I don’t want to level through the old world again, and again, and again, and again; as I have dozens of times over the 20 years that I’ve played this game. I want to be able to use my own high level characters to support my own low level characters to significantly speed up levelling through the old world. I have levelled so, so, so, so many characters through Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, I cannot handle doing it another 6 times for TBC Anniversary. I have already levelled a Paladin in Anniversary in the anticipation that I could use it to pull my other characters (first and foremost a Draenei Shaman) to level 60, so that I could actually start properly into TBC, even tho I don’t have the advantage of having multiple characters at gold-cap, like so many of the Maraudon boosters and Maraudon bots have.
I want to be able to make gold in Stratholme by farming mobs and vendoring items, because all the other gathering professions will be swamped out by bots controlling the entire server. Because so many players are at goldcap already, the economy will be ruinous in any case; leave at least some way for the honest players to earn some gold.
I know nobody from Blizzard will ever read this anyway, but if I say nothing then I’m just adding to the misery.
