free tranfers to era is open, but not to WOTLK as it seems (not kidding, check out trans options)

also: it seems you are screwed if you have the opposite faction on the main era servers

Just checked it, Pyrewood Village Era or Firemaw Era depending on realm origin
Dreadnaught is still there.
This should be kept an eye on as I think they may be adding them one at a time.

I dont really remember server names so its a bit shady whats happening now and so ill ask.
Are SoM servers letting you transfer away to WOTLK or ERA now?
Edit: It seems i could transfer from Kingsfall SoM to Purewood Village pve ERA server allready. No other choices.
Edit 19.10. : Doesnt work anymore, it was temporary?
It seems transfers to Era servers are opening. No word from Blizzard yet (ofc), and for now no opening for WotLK.

I can only transfer to Firemaw, I wanna transfer to Gandling where my other chars are.

I can’t transfer my SoM alliance character to Firemaw ERA since I’ve got horde characters there already…
Can we get transfer to other realms on the firemaw cluster?

if possible it would be helpful and interesting to have any official/blue statements regarding SoM transfers - it appears that SoM characters can be moved to the Firemaw cluster already, according to reports ( altho people with opposite faction character are not able to perform the transfer ).
Is this related to some “test” regarding transfers? Will we get a date for Era/WotLK transfers soon, as SoM lifetime approaches its end?

Gandling is connected to the firemaw group.
I know, but I want my character on Gandling, not on Firemaw.

Why is this happening now SOM hasn’t been out for a year?
Technically it doesnt matter; you are part of same cluster, you can send mail, join same guild, dungeons and raids. Only difference is the server name behind your character.
You can move to Firemaw and then pay for a transfer to Gandling, although I’d say that is completely overkill

Up and working for NA, guess EU isn’t a priority for now. Will be interesting to see if they continue with only allowing transfers to wotlk realms with free character movement and have the Alliance players on a 95/5 Mono realm.

WHO DELETED MY CHARACTER?
Season of Mastery realms will be permanently closed on a later date, which is to-be-announced later. Please note that when Season of Mastery realms close, all player-characters that have not been transferred will become inaccessible forever.
