Could someone who plays on Ashbringer give me some Infos about the server ?
Is there open world pvp / contested areas ?
Is the population really that high ?
Wowpop was something like 30k each side but i cant belive that, since the server has nearly no queue when other servers like gehenna or firemaw have like 4k.
Maybe the 30k are just low lvl toons created when people are frustrated about the queue on other servers. Even so the auction house has listed about 25k items, thats a normal amount among other servers with way lesser population (does not tell anything about the pop).
I would be grateful for a few infos.
Hey I play on ashbringer they are queues at peak times maybe 10-30 mins max in mornings it is quiet.There is alot of PvP in contested areas but it seems like 5 horde to 1 Allience I see alot more horde running about so I help out Allience whenever I see something kick off as it’s usually unfair odds.

Zones like Ashenvale, Hillsbrad, Araithi pretty much have even numbers of horde vs alliance. There is some PvP but a lot of people seem more interested in leveling.
The population isn’t as high as some other servers but there are still plenty of people in the world and I haven’t had any problems finding groups.

I can say that in the mornings or after a restart Ashbringer is the 6-8th realm that goes from Low to Medium.
Faction balance is really good, Alliance can certainly hold its own in world PvP and last weekend there was a massive Horde raid that took over Stormwind but got beat back when they tried to invade Ironforge through the tram.
The economy is a bit out of balance, it’s probably a realm that saw rampant exploiting, I just bought Robe of the Archmage pattern for 70g on my lvl 47 mage for when it hits 57. The BIS mage chest until Naxx is essentially a lvling item.

Seems fine to me so far. Its my main server that I play on with my bf.
