Well, I meant the entire time from Legion till now, so Legion, BFA, SLs, DF. The Illidari have not disbanded, so someone must hold the reigns.
But you may of course consider this as your headcannon, mine is different. That is basically the point of the thread.
For example: After the Burning of Teldrassil I see a lot of Nelfs craving power, no matter how dark and costly, to avenge their families and loved ones. Some I see purposefully wanting to join the Illidari or the Ebon Blade, even if it costs them everything. What do they have to loose after their world was turned into ashes by an insane Banshee.
Itâs not a headcannon, itâs literally what is implied in story but not outright stated.
Give me any reason why would illidari continue to recruit after legion is defeated? Illidari were reaction to the legion, their trademark ability is sacrficing their sight to see magic, see demons no matter where they hide.
If you want to fight for your nation you have much more sane and approachable choices
Those will be rejected, illidariâs purpose is fighting demons not creating more demon-possesed ticking bombs to engage in petty wars
In a recent interview, Michael Bybee stated: While he thinks the concept of a Vulpera Paladin for example is really cool, there are a bunch of extra animations and artwork they would need to implement to make it work. They feel super passionately about it every time they talk about it but at this moment they are not actually ready to announce any additional Paladins or other class extensions beyond what we currently have.
I must admit I am disappointed with this statement. Blizzard is not a small indie company, it has the resources and amount of stuff required to prioritize player agency and meet these requests. They should allocate their resources appropriately rather than continue to delay this for an indefinite period. Void elves and Blood elves have the exact same rigs, and so do Night Elves and Nightborne. Why make these large playerbases wait around even longer
Or in the years since legion demon hunters have allowed other races to join the illidari as demon hunters and can perform the ritual as well. Itâs not difficult to write others races into the class it just takes effort
And honestly Paladins are just SO OP right now literally got 3/5 of our top DPS as Paladins Iâve really had enough with these race restrictions, unless I want to play Draenei or Human I have to roll Horde again to play elf Pala!
I donât understand what they have against Paladins and elves! Theyâre like the most Tolkienâish thing that suits WoW over all!
Well, sorry to hear you were turned off the game for whatever reasons, new race/class combos included. But the truth of the matter is that for every one player that doesnât like it and might quit, it has the prospect of attracting new players to the game.
In addition, we donât know how many quit because they canât play the race/class combo that fits them best. Iâd say my enjoyment of the game when it comes to race/class combo is about a 6.5 out of 10 as every time I see my character on the character select screen, I hate that I have to play an elf and this continues into the game when I have to play as one. If enjoying playing as a DH ever dips below 5, then that will likely mean that I leave the game.
Classic is a perfect option for people who want the game as it was over a decade ago and stagnant. But this is retail, which iterates, develops, pushes new ideasâŚanybody against that is, considering there are other options available for them, just gatekeeping or straight up being selfish.
But yes, you in some way made my statement out to be incorrect. I just live in a world where I like to believe the people I mentioned in the last sentence of the above paragraph donât exist.
UMMM so basically I have no idea what executing what Iâm asking for entails and I do NOT think Iâm asking that much
Sure, why not just give players an option to acquire handguns and automatic rifles when it comes to [redacted] the [redacted] out of the game.
Blizzard is killing the uniqueness and watering the [redacted] game down because âweâre letting players play the game the way they wantâ a.k.a homogenization and total erasure of lines between anything, to be honest, just like many IRL cases.
This ideology smells, and it smells RED.
Go play FFXIV or whatever.
First that Woke nonsense now Communism? What year is it for you? 1962?
Geezus. No wonder the devs do not interact with the community directly. Social Media has fried so many brains.
Yeah, guess that is that then. Small indie company has no people to make a few graphic assets. Hope they have enough money to heat the garage they operate out of in winter.
Hmm? Itâs a multi-billion dollar company and in truth they just want to get away with as little work as is possible? That makes a lot more sense.
Shame they care so little about the people paying for their work. Maybe when there is another scandal they will again remember that maybe sometimes actually considering the wishes of your customers might be beneficial.
But whatever. I personally went Belf now. I hate being Horde, but what can I do when Blizzard doesnât care. Thanks for nothing.
First of all: The words you think you read are not the words I wrote. Possibly you know that your nonsense was complete bull and so you reprimanded yourself?
Oh well, gonna let the mods sort you out. Have a nice day.
The culling of stratholme turned/turns all horde in to an ally (including shammys druids) in human form.
i speculate that this is a somewhat financial narrative to keep ppl returning and or staying to see when the next class gets available.
