Tankiest spec in game and now top dps. What could go wrong after series of buffs every patch? Same story as feral, buff after buff until nothing can compete with it

arms warrior will be next. blizzard never learns. if you want actual balance:

  1. nerf the top 3 specs
  2. wait 1-2 weeks to see what happens
  3. buff the bottom 3 specs
  4. wait 1-2 weeks to see what happens

chances are you do this one time and 80%+ of specs feel balanced. instead blizzard hands out 10-25% aura buffs while nerfing counters to the spec you just buffed - and they do it consistently. like i said, arms will be next. give it a month.

they are also making now stealth changes, without a bluepost

That was so obvious that sp will be a new fotm when after 6% dmg buff you do another 10-25% buff…

spriest is just unkillable pve dot bot.Cant even avoid any of their cc or damage.The clas design is pure pve

I cant see Demo being a top spec tbh. SP I can defo see that.

100 %this comes from players that dont know shadow have zero mobility you can actuall interrupt or dispell or los his damage and never have killt psyfiend, and the only time there use interrupt is too donate precog

Fun fact is that half of these changes didn’t go live because apparently someone messed up the code. Warlock armor, 40% Demonbolt and few other things are not there yet haha

the armor is actually live, I have about 10k more armor (from 30k to 40k), while as regards the Demon Bolt I don’t see any differences in the numbers compared to before (despite all the debuffs on the player and a good number of demons, Demon Bolt critical damage + trinket struggles to surpass 600k in Diabolist)

I don’t believe it’s life since someone on Chan stream had screenshot from Tuesday and now and it was 40 k on both.

Why Diabolist? Soul Harvester is better for Demo

because Soul Harvester really disgusts me graphically and thematically and I prefer Diabolist, especially now that they’ve fixed the greater demons’ ai, but Ruination with 700k criticals certainly takes away your desire to play…

On the armor I didn’t notice any problems as I said, as for the Demon Bolt I also checked the results of the other warlocks in Bg and the damage never exceeds 600k critical

Damage wise probably not. But with sp apparently being broken the toolkit amd the tankyness is more valuable than whatever affli could ever bring.

Still I’m 100% sure fotm reroll will never be able to push as sp cause it’s still the most tilting spec to play.

If you put SP on a skilled player’s hands right now it’s unstoppable that’s for sure.

It’s for certain the best performer in solo shuffle right now (it already was top 3 performer before the buffs). It has synergies with most specs as it kinda “requires” people to focus it to prevent damage, while being one of the tankiest specs in the game (if not the tankiest) and doesn’t require any heavy movement. Right now, theres a 90% chance an SP is in every lobby above 2k, and a high chance there’s even two of them.

It’s also potentially the best performer in 3s too. Its already incredibly strong paired with rogue and feral at the moment, possibly with arms warrior or DH too after the buffs they received. Interested to see if raiku is gonna play sp on the 3rd AWC cup.

I don’t know, SP seems fine, just play reasonable against them (don’t get yourself over exposed) LoS from them and CC them since they aren’t the fastest?

It just makes me smile when we can see the same people who cryed about affli lock with their suprised pikachu faces of doom when they start to realize: wait demo lock meta is more miserable than affli could ever be. And its not like a lot of people told you so guys. Enjoy your Petfiesta between BM/Feral and Demo boys kekw

Yeah Demo is feeling really solid after the buffs. It still struggles to do anything if you train it (more than ever in TWW) but it’s now threatening if left to freecast. Feral still doesn’t care but Feral is three expansions ahead of everything so w/e I guess.
