Like the title says.
I’ve leveled 10+ characters to 60 on hardcore servers (both official and community) in the past years and always had a lot of fun questing my way to 60 with an occasional dungeon. The world has never been super full, but always there was life around me and I could fill up dungeon groups without issues.
Now on Spineshatter I’m playing non-hc again and leveling to 60 is the absolute WORST experience I’ve had leveling in wow. Not because of ganking. Not because of more players around, but the fact the respawns are absolutely horrible for the amount of players.
I truly don’t understand why this is playing out like this right now. You can say it will all even out when most people are 60, but the actual leveling experience NOW is not fun, and feels like a bad chore.
I’ve been sitting in SM for the past days spamming in melee cleave groups (thank god I’m a warrior and don’t get rejected like the warlocks and druids per example). It’s decent, but I really miss the questing experience, but that’s just gone. It takes 10min to get quest items.
It took me 3 hours to quest from 30 to 31. Then I decided to go back to RFK spam again and I was 31-32 in like an hour max.
I really hope blizzard hotfixes this to have more active hyperspawns in the open world, or get more layers so spread out the players for less tag competition. Like this it’s just not balanced for a fun and entertaining experience outside dungeons.
